LOVE this coffee
I try to buy as much of this coffee as I can around the holidays, because it’s not available any other time. I can’t find a Starbucks coffee that comes close to this, when it’s not available. I just wish it wasn’t so ridiculously expensive.

VERY bitter…
This coffee has an overall nice aroma to it, and smells absolutely divine while brewing. However, when you actually go in to take a sip of it, you realize just how bitter it is. Has a very distinct burnt medicinal flavor. This might be due to the fact that I got an older batch (the expiration date being in May 2021). I have to add a lot of creamer and sugar to make it taste fine. The aroma, thankfully, covers up a bit of the taste.Edit: I know its been a while, but I forgot to update this. After watering down the coffee a bit I enjoyed. The bitterness had turned down a notch, while the aroma was still intact. The actual maple taste shone through, and it was wonderful. I plan to order this again, and am shocked to say it’s probably now my favorite blend from Starbucks. All I had to do was water it down a bit.

Not worth the extra cost
This year’s Starbucks Christmas blend was good but I was disapointed. Usually the Christmas blend has an extra good flavor but 2020 does not seem “special”. Not really worth the increased cost for me. In past years I have used the Christmas blend for half the year. This year I don’t plan to add spend extra for any more. (Another year 2020 disapointment!)

These kcups don’t work well in my Keurig
The bottom of these cups are heavier than other brands so the lower needle doesn’t puncture it completely. This causes the water and grounds to come out of the top of the cup making a mess and causing the pot to shut off.

Delicious!
We got our first Keurig machine for Christmas 2018, and this is my favorite coffee so far. We very much enjoy the “Caribou” as well, but this one has a richer taste. It doesn’t have too much acidity either, which can be a problem with many of the other Starbucks blends. It isn’t necessarily inexpensive, but paying just over $1 each pod is certainly better than your typical $5 latte, so this is a good value if you’re going to drink several in a day.

Interesting Packaging & Taste
A little concerned that these didn’t come in a Starbucks box and were just thrown into a cardboard box. When shaking the k-cup, it also sounds like something hard is inside them, whereas other k-cups just have the coffee ground sound. The taste isn’t too bad, but not what I remember the coffee tasting like last year.

This is by far my favorite Starbuck’s Holiday Blend. I buy the holiday blend every year, and this year will not disappoint. I already went through 32 cups, and just ordered another box! I may have to hide them during Thanksgiving so they don’t disappear with all of our guests…LOL.
