NEVER DISAPPOINTED
I AM AN ADMITTED SNOB WHEN IT COMES TO MY COFFEE, WINE, SINGLE MALT SCOTCH, AND BEER. I DRINK LOTS OF COFFEE BUT VERY LITTLE ALCOHOL. I’VE HAD FRENCH COFFEE IN FRANCE, KONA COFFEE IN HAWAII, BLUE MOUNTAIN COFFEE IN JAMAICA. ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO I FOUND THIS COFFEE IN A HOTEL ROOM FLORIDA. IT HAS BEEN “MY COFFEE” EVER SINCE.

Best coffee I ever had
I consider myself a coffee snob. I’ve been drinking coffee since I was 7 or 8 years old and have had my share of Chock full o nuts to savarin to maxwell house to DD to Starbucks to more artisan blends… when covid hit, I ran to the supermarket and discovered Peets. Not sure why I didn’t see it before but this blend really blew me away. Its packed with flavor, smooth and most importantly, not bitter. I’m hooked. And during those dismal first weeks of covid when everything shut down, there was Peets coffee… it got me out of bad each morning. Something to be said about that!

Delicious coffee
This coffee is pricey, so I buy it as a treat for myself, but it is delicious and I don’t think you can beat the flavor. I first received it as a gift and then later gifted myself, so if you’re in the mood to spoil yourself, then go for it.!!

A tasty brew
I drink my dark coffee black with honey. My fav are Peet’s Major Dickason and Starbucks French. Both are great coffee, but a little on the expensive side. I go with the Starbucks cause it is a little better value.In an effort to save money I thought to try a cheap brand and gave Folgers Black Silk a go and I disliked it so much that I’m ready to give the remains away to a less coffee sensitive drinker. Now I’m reluctant to trial other cheaper brands,I enjoy the flavor right out of the cup and the aftertaste. The snob in me doesn’t enjoy that bitter aftertaste found in cheap coffee. Maybe if I drowned it with cream, I’d be less critical, but I don’t. I drink it black and sweet.Packaging is fine and design for open storage is good.I wonder what coffee a real Coffee Snob drink. I’d believe in their reviews. Enjoy…

Changed my coffee routine
This Peet’s coffee is a game changer for me. I have been looking for my best cup of coffee for a while. Even thought about getting an espresso machine. Once I found Peet’s Major Dickason’s blend and a simple pour over setup. I found what I was looking for and will most likely never change. If you like dark rich coffee with full flavor even after you add creamer. This is the coffee you need to try!

One of the best coffees and dependably so.
“Best coffee” is subjective, of course. I like a full-bodied, dark roast coffee and I brew it with a pour-over setup. I make it very strong, and I love Peets for this application. Dark roast only! I’ve been using Peets for many years and it has never let me down. The price, like everything else, keeps going up, and of course, like with everything else, as long as we continue to buy the product, the price will keep going up until we stop. which isn’t gonna happen, so I watch for when it’s on sale and then I grab a bit of backup. I used to have a subscription, direct from Peets, and then I’d get coffee that was roasted less than a week ago. But that’s even more expensive now, so sale-shopping it is.

I’m a SB’s girl, I love their caramel coffee hot or cold but SB’s is expensive so I decided to give this brand a try and truthfully I like it just as much maybe even better. And most importantly I also saved money.

It’s completed flat as a tortilla
The coffee was roasted in August and expires in December. But what’s spoken is how compressed the bag arrived. Buyer beware, shhhhh&t!

Best value coffee I have ever found
I had an expensive ($3000) built in coffee maker. It was great. The coffee was great. I used high end dry (not oily) beans, as that was required. I thought I was in coffee heaven. Than a visitor came to stay for a while and brought her own coffee (Major Dickasons ground coffee), a funnel, filters, and an electric water boiler. I tried the coffee. It was better. A lot better. Two things made it so good. One, the coffee itself and two, the single cup drip method. I tried other coffees and a coffee machine. For my taste the best was as described above. I use this method all the time now. I bought a $35 frother and now I am good to go. I have a delicious cup each morning. I have tried a few local high end coffees instead, but none matches up to Major Dick’s for my taste.

If I had Known!
The price was certainly great, but there was no indication that the ground coffee had been around quite so long!I think the bag showed that it had been ground in the first couple of months of this year. And here we are in the tenth!I’m not a coffee freak … or i’d likely grind my own beans .. but I do believe this offering should have been more upfront about this issue!

Full of flavor
Just delicious and full of rich deep flavor. Tried lots of other brands including the classic supermarket shelf stuff like Folgers, Kirkland, Duncan, etc. But Peet’s is head and shoulders above in terms of quality and richness. It’s the only one we use for the last year.

My wife loves this coffee and therefore I love this coffee. It keeps her happy . I also like the fact it was fresh and in smaller packages to keep the freshness. Large bags get stale more easily. Will reorder in the future.

I did not know coffee could taste that good.
This was the first time I had tried Peet’s coffee. I use a K Cup machine, usually with another premium brand dark roast coffee. Lately, coffee began to taste watered down so, on the recommendation of a friend, I decided to try Peet’s Dark Roast Ground Coffee – Major Dickason’s Blend.A reusable K Cup coffee holder takes 2 tablespoons of ground coffee to make a 6 oz cup of coffee. One Oz = 2 Tablespoons, so 18 cups per this size bag of Peet’s. Even in this small bag quantity, at $1+ for premium coffee K Cups, Peet’s ground is 30% less per cup.It has been a long time since I have enjoyed the aroma of coffee, or a full body taste without a trace of bitterness. I am going to try a few more Peet’s blends. Once I settle on one, I will buy either Peet’s K Cup pods or larger quantities of ground, as they are substantially lower in price than the 18 oz bag.Excellent coffee.

No added caffeine!
Peets is one of the few coffee brands I can regularly use. Every other name brand coffee I’ve tried makes it difficult for me to fall asleep at night. My inference is that they add some caffeine-type-molecule to give their coffee more punch and my system processes it differently than most people. I would suggest another name brand from a well known big box store which also causes me no sleep issues, but at the price charged here, I might as well go with a cool brand like Peets.

Dark coffee but not bitter!
For a dark coffee, this has a smooth taste with a very enticing aroma. Unlike some other dark coffees, this has not been over roasted. I think Peet’s makes some of the best coffees around and the price is competitive with other premium brands.
