Best coffee maker, ever.
We use our Nespresso machine every morning and it is AWESOME. The coffee is delicious, and there are many types to choose from so everyone can have a cup that suits their palate. This thing is also a workhorse, it can hold up to lots of use and consistently produces an amazing cup of coffee with delicious foam on top. Well worth the money, and is a great value for the price.

“New” is actually be already-used
I ordered this to replace a my old Nespresso Vertuo machine (which I purchased elsewhere). I got the dark grey. Delivery was fast, but the package I received was pretty beat up and worn, and consistent with some of the other reviews recently posted. Specifically, the “original” package of the machine looked like certain stickers or tape had been ripped off, which felt like the machine was NOT new (as incorrectly advertised), but in fact, a refurbished or previously returned machine. When I opened it up, there was a lingering smell of ground coffee, again, evidence that the machine was already used by someone else, and returned and/or refurbished. This was confirmed by the fact that the “$10 off your next purchase of Vertuo pods” discount code would not work when I tried to enter it in at the Nespresso website. I got an error message stating “this code has already been used.” More disappointingly, I can see why this machine was used and returned — the water tank leaked during and after use.I have returned this item, and am a little surprised at this being sold as “new” when it clearly was used. Also FYI, if you’re returning, make sure to include both the packaging of the machine AND the outer box packaging. I got grief for having tossed the outer box, and had to buy an extra box, even though the directions for returns only indicate “original” packaging. Truly disappointing.

2nd Nespresso Vert.
I’m absolutely in love with this product I love the coffee. Unfortunately I am on the verge of buying my third Nespresso in 2 years. My last Nespresso was purchased August 2022 and as of today September 2023 mine nespresso has officially died. Does not turn on when plugged in, at all. The one before this one malfunctioned and would no longer make coffee but would turn on. I don’t know what it is about the build of these machines but they do not last so be prepared to purchase the warranty ,register the product with Nespresso or get ready to buy a replacement machine in a matter of months to a year. I will be buying a third Nespresso today.

On par for nespresso
I bought this as a gift for my aunt (at her request). The machine is decent quality but nothing stellar. The wifi capability is a useless gimmick that is more for nestle to monitor what your tastes are rather than be helpful.The vertuo line was developed for North America and is only recently being pushed to some other countries. It’s a better alternative to the absolutely horrid and undrinkable keurig system but still no substitute for fresh ground coffee. The traditional nespresso line uses smaller pods and are NOT interchangeable with this system. The original is strictly for espresso based drinks whereas the vertuo line with its giant pods can make larger drinks.Don’t be fooled by that luscious “crema” you see in all the ads. You’ll get that crema, but it’s made artificially by spinning the pods at high speed to introduce air. Usually crema is the result of high quality coffee at the right pressure. Here they’ve found a way to do it simply by spinning the pod so its more foam then crema.One warning for people with arthritis or weakness in the hands: closing and locking the lid is a two-handed operation (one to steady the machine and one to turn the lock). My 70-something aunt had a lot of difficulty closing and locking so it’s something to be aware of for older people or those with limited hand strength.

Just buy it. Nespresso trumps all other brands when it comes to coffee, and this cute, compact, and quiet machine is ideal. I do A LOT of research before buying anything, and I feel like the ratings speak for themselves. I have one at home and purchased this one for work and I gotta tell you…my coworkers are jealous.10/10 would recommend.

Too mild for my taste
Love the foam. Tried all the samples. Bought the stormio and a decaf. Didn’t get enough coffee flavor. Feel like I’d needed three 7oz pods each morning to feel a lift. Need a fare amount of cupboard space to store a variety of pods. Still way better than Keurig. Would have kept if it had extra hot / extra strong settings. Returned.

Pretty much what I expected
So far, so good. The Nespresso was pretty much what I was expecting. Makes a solid cup of espresso, which is all I can really ask for. I appreciate the storage compartment within the unit for the used pods. Gets a bit dirtier than expected. Also, make sure you clean it prior to use. We ran into an issue where we ran it once, it sat for a few weeks, and when we came back, it wasn’t working. Just needed a proper cleaning. Lastly, feel as though it’s a bit more difficult to close than it should be. But, all-in-all, nice machine.

Excellent Flavor! I wish it worked with Alexa to automate with my Morning Routine.
I’ve been using Keurig K-Cups for decades. I like being able to easily vary the coffee flavor. My current machine is the first which works with Alexa, so my coffee is ready when I want it.I’ve been tempted by Nespresso for more than a year so I finally broke down. WOW, is this great coffee! I wish the brewer worked with Alexa, but the flavor is so much better than K-Cups.

Worst software to pair with phone
I tried to pair this machine with my iPhone twice with the help of technical support, not to mention it was unsuccessful after loosing 45 mins and unnecessarily booting router twice and resetting the machine to factory reset twice.I have read lot of complaints of water leak from the top of the machine on internet.Software was finding it difficult to find my Google mesh network!!!!Couple of extra buttons to do programming would eliminate lot of headaches.Sorry Nespresso please recall and replace this model.

Repackaged
The product works fine but it had clearly been returned. The box was torn and regaled and the top of the unit had a few scratches. Cosmetic, but still….Just too lazy to return and demand a new one. Would be more transparent to mention that it was not new and discount it.

Not as good as expected
The media could not be loaded.
It’s very tricky to adjust the cup size since there’s only one button, I still haven’t completed figure it out yet. It’s very heavy and big overall, kinda difficult to close the top. But I bought it on sale and comes with a milk frother, which is very convenient for making latte. Easy to clean though. I’d say it’s still a nice value for a product like this!

Didn’t last 6 months
I love love love my Nespresso however, it didn’t last 6 months. This is the 3rd one I have had of this model and none of them lasted a year. Nespresso has the BEST customer service but they are too expensive for the quality. I am trying a new model this time and hopefully it lasts longer. Otherwise the taste is amazing and I hope to never go back to another brand machine.

First machine.
This is my first Nespresso machine. And the only complaint I have so far is that the pods didn’t come with it? I was looking forward to the sample pack that said would come with the machine. Unless I missed it, there was no pods. I looked through the box and packaging everywhere. HOWEVER, the machine is working well and has no issues. I have been using it for a month now.

Nespresso machine
The coffee machine has made some of the best homemade coffee I’ve ever had. It makes such a creamy, not acidic, coffee. This machine is also so stylish and makes my coffee bar look so cute. Unlike many other coffee machines that just are to bulky and look hideous in a space. This one is compact and stylish. I also love that it dispenses the pod itself into a removable bin. The removable bin is convenient for washing all the old coffee remnants off. To avoid bugs or a nasty smell. Also the water container is easy to remove and fill. Love it so far

Obsessed with this product!
I was turned on to this machine by my brother who has the same model. I never loved keurigs.. no matter what coffee I tried it never came out like it does in a coffee shop.I found myself spending close to $35/week on coffee at Starbucks. Not anymore. The Nespresso machine generates a beautiful thick coffee/espresso by centrifugal force which gives the end result a nice layer of crema.Totally worth the money to get the milk frothed as well for a nice latte or cappuccino.

Nothing but trouble since day 1
The media could not be loaded.
This machine has given me nothing but trouble since I got it back in April. When I first got it, I couldn’t get it to work. I followed the steps when first using it but water would not come out of it. Finally called customer service (who was great) and they showed me a few random pat your head, run your belly tricks to prime the machine. After I got off the call, I noticed that there was water at the base of it but assumed that maybe I had taken the cup away from the machine too soon and walked away. Fast forward to two weeks later when I first used it for real…brewed a couple of cups for me and my partner one Saturday morning. We were happily enjoying our coffees when I noticed a puddle of water underneath the machine again…but this time it was on the brand new, wood coffee bar I bought for the machine so it created a water stain :(. I finally got around to calling nespresso again and the rep (who was very helpful) confirmed it’s defective so they have to replace it. Which means I have to lug the machine to a ups (not fun when live in nyc and don’t have a car). I’m hoping the replacement works but, if I could do it again, I would not buy this machine. Best part of the experience is that customer support is very good and easy to work with.

Two machines stopped working within the same year.
I absolutely loved this machine when I first purchased it in October 2022. In February, the machine stopped working, so I contacted customer service. My phone would not connect to the machine through the app, so I was granted a ‘one-time courtesy replacement’. The new machine arrived and worked great (still not connecting to my phone); until a few days ago. I have tried everything to get it to work, including their descaling product, and because it will not connect to my phone, we cannot troubleshoot the issue. I am very disappointed because I LOVE the coffee this thing used to put out. Straight to the trash and back to the French press in October 2023.

Love Nespresso coffee; Don’t really care for this machine don’t really care for this machine
Got this on prime sale during the lockdowns. I had the previous model, which I put on my office. It is so much easier to use then this new design.First off it does make good coffee.That Being said here are the issues:1. It leaks when the housing is open.2. Did they even try and close the housing before going into production? This thing is so hard to get close and latch it’s ridiculous. Anyone with any kind of arthritis or lack of strength Will not be able to close it.3. You pair your phone to it; however, it’s already prepared to some other account whenever you open it out of the box. Thugs you have to screw around with tech support to get it unpaired. Yes, they know of the issue. Also The app does nothing of use.5. Reservoir is smaller than the previous model so you have to fill it up often.6. If you turn it on to preheat and step away to grab a coffee pod by the time you go back to the machine, it’s already turned itself off due to “energy saving” feature. Annoying!7. It doesn’t produce hot coffee. If you want to add cold cream to your coffee it will make the whole thing cold, because brewing temperatures are quite low.Other than that, the coffee is still great.

I bought a new product, but…
I bought a new product, but it looks like it is used and my unpacking was so unpleasant. The package was worn and torn here and there, the product was dusty, taping had some gross hair on it. And there is a scratch on the logo of the machine. Fortunately, the rinsed water was clean.

Failed coffee maker- expensive ‘club’
Terrible customer service. I want to return this machine, unused coffee and exit the ‘club’.This machine failed after 6 months. I really wanted to enjoy this coffee machine. The Nespresso club’ has access to some very good coffee. It is pricy… on the order of $100-130 per month in pods. I liked the recycling aspect of sending the spent cartridges in. And again when the machine works, the variety of type and size brew was excellent… then about 5 months after purchasing… things went south.First it threw a descaling warning by way of the flashing orange light on top of the machine. So I bought the descaling solution and flushed the machine like the support video showed. It worked for about a week. Then would only produce one cup of coffee and need to be flushed for 30 ounces. That got old fast. This went on for about a week. At best, I could get maybe 3 cups of 7.7 ounces or one 18 ounce carafe between flushes for about 3 weeks. Then this week, the app said the machine needed to be descaled again and it only flashed orange lights. So I descaled it again and flushed the machine according to the support videos, and I was able to get about 5 ounces of coffee out of a 7.7 ounce pod. Then the light was flashing orange again. I looked at the app and it said “an issue occurred error 1760”.This afternoon I called the support number from the app, and was able to explain my situation with the machine. When I got to the part to explain to the telephone support operator that I was disappointed with it all, he hung up on me! I called back and got a different technician and she listened politely, but told me that my machine was probably stuck in the descaling cycle and I needed to flush it at least ten more times! I’ve been flushing this thing daily at this point!! I asked her about error code 1760 and she said that she didn’t have access to the error codes, but it was probably a descaling problem and I needed to flush it at least ten more times. I then asked her for warranty details and she said that she couldn’t help me with the warranty situation unless I flushed at as prescribed and if the issue persisted I should call back.This evening when I got home, I found about 20 ounces of cold coffee puddled under the machine.I am never buying a Nespresso product again.At this point all I want is a return shipping label and a refund for the $100 of unused coffee I have from this month’s purchase… never again Nespresso!

A hateful machine
A psychotic computer chip controls the Next machine. When it decides it doesn’t want to make coffee its light changes color and starts blinking in a different pattern. When the new pattern says I need to descale the machine and I go through those steps, it won’t go back to coffee-making mode until I call the toll-free problem line which gives me a secret series of commands to override the computer chip. There is supposed to be a series of commands that will enable the owner to return the machine to its original status. Those commands don’t work. I cannot even get rid of this machine through a thrift donation because any new owner will have to suffer through the same frustration that I’ve had to put up with. All I can do is give it to a friend who’s a target shooter so he can use it for a different type of target. If I could stand social media, I’d post the event there. Buy this machine only if you have low blood pressure and you need something to raise it (much of the time you won’t be able to raise it with caffeine from this machine because you likely won’t be able to get any).

My Girlfriend Loves it
It was between this and the Ninja 10 and 1 thing for Christmas but ended up getting this as she loves coffee and was having dreams of this new coffee maker so I got it for her and she uses it EVERY SINGLE DAY! She loves it. I actually use it time to time as the coffee is MUCH better than traditional Keurig machines! It’s not even close… she’s from Brazil and they have this thing for STRONG coffee ✅ I’m not sure how they do it but whatever they did to get every bit of coffee out those little cups works! It’s super heavy and looks like we’re gonna have it for a long time. Her birthday was a 2 months away from Christmas so got her the Ninja thing too which she uses quite a bit. I’m no Coffee connoisseur but she is and apparently this is her favorite kitchen gadget (and we have LOTS) maybe only runner up to the Ninja 10-1 thing lol if your wife/girlfriend/mother/daughter/sister or whoever is even remotely thinking about getting a new coffee maker. GET THIS ONE. You won’t regret it! We also by the cups by the hundreds and they give us nice glass cups and throw in a few freebies! Would totally give it 10 stars if I could

Need to descale once a month
I had this machine for over a year. Love it because it’s easy to use and save space. Hate it because it needs a descale very often, more often than the manufacturer suggested 3000 brew. Otherwise, the coffee will have NO FLAVOR at all.

A little temperamental this machine
It is a little temperamental. Sometimes you push the button, and the machine has to think about it before it starts brewing. Then, you push that button again, and it still needs to think about it some more. Frustrating little beatch. But, I like it. It also makes my husband’s life easier to make my espresso in the mornings.

Where have you been all my life ?
Creamy, dreamy, and all mine!!! This little baby is not only quite reasonably priced but makes amazing coffee and espresso !!(my weakness) it makes creamy coffee and espresso and also connects to blue tooth and wifi to help diagnose any issues. I have only used if three times so far but I can see me using it over and over again. Mine was supposed to come with a $10 coupon for coffee but I didn’t find one in the box 🙁 coffee samples it came with we’re a bonus to help see what I like also. Edit* also missing the water hardness test strip!/checked in the manual as well. Nothing there.
