Cocoa Truffle replacement
Ever since Nespresso discontinued Cocoa Truffle and replaced it with an awful alternative , I’ve been looking for a good chocolate espresso and i found it with L’Or. Rich coffee flavor and no artificial flavors, Great taste. If you’re looking for a cocoa truffle replacement-this is it.

Not what I was looking for but…
This item seemed to be a great fit for my nepresso machine but it is too small. The company actually reached out and offered a full refund even though it wasn’t an option initially. For that kind of customer service I give them a 5/5 and would check and see what other products they offer. Customer Service is key and they nailed it.

Great Flavor
We just got our Lor Barista Machine and love it. It is a great machine for a good price. We are trying all the strengths we like . There are some pods that are for coffee and some for espresso. If you like strong espresso get these pods.

Money well spent
For the price I think it’s one of the best espresso coffee pods I’ve had I’ve had others they double the price and it’s not worth that much with this company. It’s a fair price willing to pay it because the coffee is excellent. I buy two boxes every month. There is 100 pods in each box 10×10. I do drink a lot of coffee if somebody says anything negative they’re full of it.

TOP SHELF!
A add popped up on my tv screen on the L’OR coffee system. It got my attention when Isaw the luscious crema flow into the cup. Being the coffee lover I am I had to give it a try. The very day the system arrived I followed instructions on how to set up the machine, took a couple of minutes, and made my first cup! As I savored the rich deliciousness of the brew I was transported to Italy. If only!!! The pods are aluminum which keep the coffee fresh as if the beans were just ground. Delicious!!! When shopping for more capsules I came upon other brands that are compatible with the machine. I purchased 2 boxes of the most popular brands. No comparison. So happy I bought the L’OR system. Can’t go wrong with this one!

Great flavor but pods are a hair too short for puncturing foil top
I was so excited to get these but they are a microscopic hair too short for my nespresso machine to thoroughly puncture the foil top and ended up with light brown water after several tries. I ended up puncturing with a fork and then it worked okay and tasted great. Disappointed and it is now a chore every time I want one I have to pre-puncture it.

I use these all the time with my nespesso maker
Absolutely love these and use them all the time with my nespresso maker. I don’t like Starbucks. I use these, nespresso, or peet’s capsules and that is it! I love the froth and oils from the coffee on all of these. Very tasty. I don’t even use creme at all and just use sugar free syrup with these.

Delicious coffee, works perfectly in Nespresso Pixie machine
It is not a surprise that Jacobs Douwe Egberts makes a great capsule for Nespresso machines. I have bought the Jacobs capsules for years and used the Jacobs Kronung beans for years. (By the way, Kronung is damn good if you have not tried it.) I haver tried both this Papau New Guinea and the Colombian capsules. Both work well for a shot or a Lungo. Both are roasted to perfection (medium), allowing the flavors of the varietal to come through. Unlike the American idea that you have to roast the crap out of the beans until all you can taste is the roast, these pay tribute to the bean. Both are rich, strong, and flavorful. Equal to any capsules that I have tried for Nespresso at a fair price. If you are a fan of tasting the coffee bean (instead of the dark roast), I recommend that you try these.

They arrived quicklyand in perfect condition I’m a huge coffee addict.. they are perfectly compatible with my nespresso machine..the vanilla is my favorite and then the caramel. The chocolate is good too but has a slight weird after taste. I don’t drink them just black, I use creamers and my company plus myself adore these! Looking forward to trying new flavors. I think tho, I’m going to order straight from the website. More selections..same price basically.

Yummy espresso!
These tasted great! They were not quite as strong as espresso pods I’ve brought from Nepresso, but I didn’t mind the lighter flavor. They tasted more like coffee than the stronger flavor I typically enjoy from espresso, but still good. These flavors are good and nice in smooth. I’ll definitely be back for more.

Good flavor
Bought these to have a little treat (and to stretch out my normal stock of pods when I’m having an extra caffeine kind of morning). If the flavors, I actually prefer the caramel the most, as it’s the most smooth. This is surprising to me as usually caramel flavor can have that artificial twang to it. The vanilla has a touch of that, but it’s not overpowering. Of the three flavors, the chocolate probably has the most of that artificial twang, but not enough to make it unpalatable to me, but ymmv. Already ordered more, so it worked for me!

Lor pods vs others that fit
Ok, I’m a flavored coffee person. The chocolate, vanilla and caramel variety are really great. The pods are very firm and the coffee is not a light brew. More expensive than others, but worth it for full flavor. Others I’ve tried just aren’t as good.

Nice flavor. No chemical taste.
The coffee produced by these capsules are very good. The Carmel has a nice flavor, and is not overpowering. It also does not have a chemical taste like a lot of flavored espressos do. The four-star rating is because one to two capsules per 10 do not function properly in the nespresso machine.

Works with Nespresso original
This product is everything it said it was, however I am not fond of how they taste. I really like the Nespresso pods and their taste but these are not even worth the good deal on price that I got. I tried one of each flavor thinking maybe I just didn’t like one specific flavor but I was wrong. Other than the way I think they taste they are exactly as described and a very good deal price wise.

Leaks
I tried these out because they are a bit cheaper. After first using them I noticed that my cup did not fill up as much. Then after only 6 or 7 pods my machine was leaking on the counter. I thought the machine was broken at first but realized the drip tray underneath the disposed pods was full of water/coffee. My conclusion is that the cup did not fill up as much and the tray was full of water because the pods don’t seal very well after you clamp them in the machine. Between 100 of these and 50 of another flavor the problem persisted. I recalibrated the machine to fill the cup which made the problem worse and the taste of the coffee suffered as well. Switched back to the name brand and problem resolved.

Caramel and vanilla are nice, chocolate not so much
Wanted to have some flavored caps and these seemed more reasonable in price compared to the nespresso made ones. I was hoping for a good chocolate one, but that ended up being the disappointment. The vanilla is ok, not my favorite flavor in general but it was nice compared to my previous experience with vanilla flavored coffee which normally is way too strong. Surprisingly I normally hate caramel flavored coffees because of the intensity and artificial flavor, but this caramel from LOR was great. I’ve already purchased more of just the caramel flavor as a treat.

Good flavor but not strong enough
Good flavor but If you like your espresso strong, this is not for you. I also found some inconsistency with the pods. For instance, yesterday I made espresso and it came out more “watery” than the usual and this has happened several times now with these pods. This issue doesn’t happen with the other brand I use, but to be fair, that other brand’s pods are for very strong espresso so perhaps this line is not strong enough for me.
