Great milk frother
The media could not be loaded.
I have ordered several milk frothers and ordered this one because I had used a l’or espresso machine at an Airbnb and really liked it. This frother is similar to others I’ve used in the speed and quality of milk foam it makes. This frother has one button for 4 different settings. Some other frothers have 4 different buttons. I use between 1/4 and 1/2 cup of whole milk and it takes 1.5 minutes to heat and froth.

Stainless Steel Milk Frother with Heat Options

I can heat the milk without frothing or froth room temperature milk. The device can also make hot chocolate with the whisk removed.I used the heat and milk frothing option, set the frothing unit on the base, and soon I had, perfectly heated milk and the volume in the cup had at least doubled, and I was able to spoon the froth into my coffee without cooling it off. Quality milk frother!
I’m happy with this milk frother! I’ve used another unit from a different brand for a few years now that I’ve been happy with but this takes it up a notch! My previous unit would froth well, but the milk would separate from the foam making a very dry cappuccino type of beverage every time. This does a much better job of creating smooth, thick-bodied milk with a great mouthfeel. Cleanup is easy, practically the same as my other unit, and the quality of everything seems good. Only time will tell how long it holds up, but I’m optimistic.One thing to note is that my last frother had a really large capacity so this one seems a little smaller by comparison – if you like huge lattes like me, keep that in mind. Otherwise I’m perfectly happy with this so far and would recommend it.

Stylish, easy to use and froth for days.
I am by no means a barrister (though this makes me look like one), I honestly don’t like coffee, but somehow all my adult kids love it and talk about their high dollar machines, beans and tools. So, we decided to up our game so when they visit, we can show off a bit. This goes great with our setup, looks stylish and was easy to use. I didn’t know what to expect, but wow this thing made some serious froth. We used whole milk with a heavy cream, a bit overkill. I tried it for hot chocolate and worked great, but not enough capacity for me. Washing it seems a bit tedious, maybe I am just overly cautious.

Best frother I’ve had
I’ve had a few frother in the past and this has been the best I’ve tried. It creates a tremendous froth that is simultaneously light and dense. It looks amazing on my counter and is clearly high quality. My last frother was a Nespresso that came with my coffee maker and it is great but when it stopped working I decided against getting another one due to price, I was glad to find this frother since it works extremely well, is less expensive and seems a little quicker than my Nespresso frother. I like the design of the L’OR, it has a premium and elegant look. I highly recommend this L’OR frother

Quick and quiet; the thickest hot milk foam ever for me.
This is a review of the L’OR Barista Milk Frother and Steamer.I have fallen in love with milk frothers and I use them everyday. We have gotten several of them so I was looking forward to getting this one. I am happy to say it is terrific.This comes with instructions, but it’s very intuitive to use. I prefer the hot milk froth mode which you get by clicking it on; it’s the first mode. I have tried them all, with milk and hot chocolate and they all work great.What makes this frother stand out for me are two things. The first is that it looks so sharp and elegant on your kitchen counter. It looks and feels luxe.The second thing I love about it, is that it produces such thick and stiff hot milk froth; I spoon it into my coffee. It is also fairly quiet and works quickly.My only critique, and no stars off for this is that the heating element is at the bottom of the cup. So you have to be careful to to not let that part get wet which makes cleaning this frother a little more difficult.Still, this is truly a great frother so 5 stars from me.

Soooooo much froth!
I was seriously amazed at how much froth this produced for my morning Cappuccino.I followed the directions, filled it with a little less than the mark, and pressed the button. Then I pressed my puck and brewed my usual doppio and single into my cup. I grabbed the frother, fully expecting to be disappointed, and prepped myself to get to steaming instead. I popped the lid and WoW!!The whole frother was filled to the brim with the fluffiest, lightest, most perfect froth I could have ever hoped for. In all my years of steaming, using every trick that my local Barista taught me, I could never produce a beautiful froth like this and with the volume to boot.This is my new favorite toy.

Better than my espresso machine
So I did think this milk frother was a little expensive but there’s no doubt that it’s better than some others on the market. Firstly it has a nice sleek black look. It’s much larger than I expected and hold more than other units I’ve seen, though it’s still only 8oz. The extra size is one of the big reasons to get this over a different one. My roommate likes his coffee’s hot so I actually found myself using the warming function much more than I expected. It’s super handy to start warming some milk while I’m making my espresso. My espresso machine has a built-in milk frother but I just find this to be easier to clean and I like that I can see all the elements that will touch my food. Overall, I’m really happy with this thing I just don’t think it justifies the current price.

Nice frother, looks great
This is a very nice mult-function frother. The one thing I’ve seen that is a little different than similar designs is the callout to remove the metal whisk from the unit if prepping hot chocolate. That does work, though.This is one of the more attractive frothers I’ve tested, as it is designed obviously to sit next to a L’OR coffee maker. I don’t have one of those, but it looks great in my coffee setup next to my kettle and pour over tools.Functionally it has worked exactly as expected, and has been super easy to clean.Appears well built and should be durable for long use, assuming the motor doesn’t die, which I have no reason to assume it will.

proficient little guy!
a few years prior i had the luxury of using a milk frother when visiting a relative with a nespresso. i loved that little thing and was so sad when i returned home to no longer having it. sometimes you really dont realize just how convenient and cool things are until you really experience them.that being said! i am very impressed by this guy! it was a bit bigger than i was imagining for the price! i wasn’t expecting to be as pleased as i am! it has a good weight, and is packaged very nicely. typically i see at home milk frothers like these, to have a button you press for power + blending options, however this one doesn’t have a physical button.. you just touch the power icon. it does have a little light above it to show weather or not it’s powered on + which heat setting you are currently using. for me, i personally prefer the physical button, just because i could accidentally touch the power icon while holding it and make a giant disaster without knowing. this is just a small personal preference though!it does come with three blending modes: hot, hot (stirring), and cold. i thought the hot stirring option was very cool! if you wanted to make hot chocolate or some sort of warm drink mix then this is the perfect option for you! within the instruction manual it does say you need to remove the spring for this option, or else the milk will froth too much and possibly overflow. obviously this happened to me haha, but it was an easy clean up!i have yet to try the cold function, but i will be bringing home some vanilla sweet cream from work to test it out and see just how it compares to our foamer at work! :)overall i’ve had a pretty good experience when it comes to this milk frother!

Latte Milk
I used this milk frother 3-4 times a week to make hot lattes at home and love this counter frother. I have a handheld frother and also have an expresso machine with a frother/heater. My expresso machine is so loud with frothing, I hate it. While the hand held is nice it doesn’t heat my milk, this does all of the work for you. It is small only being able to heat and froth about a half cup of milk at a time. But the frother is quick and quiet. It does heat the milk to a drinkable temperature not burn your mouth off temperature. The price does seem steep but you will use this machine. It’s small enough to leave on the counter without causing clutter. So easy to use, with an easy to understand manual.

L’OR Barista Milk Frother and Steamer
I like to make earl gray tea lattes every morning. I’ve tried several milk frothers and had varying luck with them. There are a lot of units that have two separate pieces which I don’t really care for. Makes for more cleaning. This compact unit has only the power base and cord. The drawback to this is you have to be careful not to submerge it in water or you’ll damage it. But as long as it’s carefully washed out after each use it isn’t a problem. The heated milk foam that it creates is thick and creamy. It has instructions included that state any kind of milk can be used but I’ve found that a higher fat content tends to work best. Whole milk or half and half mixed in to a lower percentage works great. I’ve not had a need for cold milk foam yet… not sure when I’d use that. But I have mixed some hot chocolate just to see how it would do and it made a deliciously dense cup of cocoa that tasted great and was fully blended. It was a bit harder to clean the machine out after using it for that, but still pretty simple. The mixing blade is attached with a magnet and comes right out so the inside can be wiped clean with a sponge. Takes only moments to achieve thick and creamy milk hot milk foam for my lattes. Very happy with this purchase. Would recommend to others.

Don’t buy
The frothier Seems to be built well it’s sturdy and it works but the program only let you do three things. You can heat the milk you can foam it up. But you can’t reheat if you forget to put the little stainless steel froth in and then stop it and put it in. It won’t let you heat for like 60 seconds. It senses that it was hot or started and then you have to wait, it’s just impractical.

This is just too expensive in my opinion
I got this because it had a lot of great reviews and I wasn’t overly happy with the much less expensive one I had. I thought this would be a lot different than the one I already owned, but it really wasn’t. The only difference really is that this was more finicky and that it is separate from the electrical element. Finicky in that once it heated up I had to either add more cold liquid or let it sit for quite a while to cool off before I could use it again, not super functional if you want to make multiple cups. It’s great that it separates from the electrical component, but you still can’t submerge it and you still have be careful not to get it too wet. It does clean easily, as in you can just wipe it out, but it would be nice to not feel like I have to be super careful about getting it wet when cleaning it. It does froth the milk well and it warms it up nicely, but for the price I expected more.

Awesome milk frother, we just need to fine tune the milk quantity!
The advertising got me! I’m a big Formula One racing fan, and L’OR have been sponsoring the programming this year, so they finally won me over and grabbed this milk frother.This has a very high quality feel to it when you receive the package, open it up and you have the frother, the magnetic spinning frother and the power base. After giving it a quick rinse out (you can simply pull up on the magnetic whisk in the center and it pulls out for quick and easy cleaning) and drying it so quickly as it has a nice non-stick coating on it, we put in some milk and set the level right between the two Max levels. Figured that would be the safest starting point.Set the frother on the power base (much like you would an electric kettle) and turned it on. You press the touch sensitive button different amounts of times depending on the type of foam you want. Until you get it down, you’ll want to refer to the instructions.What happened for us, with the milk level in the middle (as you can see in the photo – nowhere near max) is that the machine fired into life so quietly, and whisked up the milk almost instantly. As it’s doing so, the heating element inside also warms it. But then it started to rise in the foamer, and rise and rise! Ended up having to put my hand on the lid and still foam rose up! It ended up spilling out and landing on the counter and continued to do so in it’s 180 second cycle.So that is where my original comment in the title comes from, we’re going to have to spend some time and finesse the amount of milk we put in here to make sure it doesn’t go all over the counter! We obviously had too much milk in there, but were nowhere near the max level, so that’s what is confusing us right now.Don’t get me wrong, this is an amazing product, fantastic quality, does exactly what it says it will, almost TOO well! I am 100% sure it was user error, and we’ll fine tune our usage going forwards!Overall, this is a fantastic milk frother/foam maker, superb quality, easy to clean up (I just eluded to how I know that!) and looks great on the counter top with all of the other coffee making paraphernalia we have in the kitchen! Great product!
