I was surprised to see this ground coffee from Lavazza. In the past I have only purchased their espresso beans for use in my Breville espresso machine. I had never tried ground coffee from Lavazza, and I have never heard of the Rifle Paper Company. But this coffee is really good. Even better than the Starbucks holiday blend I usually buy in the Fall. I have been drinking this coffee in the morning with my breakfast. The nice aroma and bold flavor really puts me in a good mood to start my day. Unfortunately this 10-ounce bag isn’t going to last me very long, so I’ll probably order the 6-pack next time.

First of all I love the Riffle Paper company and the bag is actually so darn nice, this would make a great gift in a stocking or basket. Beautiful art work. Second, Lavazza coffee is one of my favorites. The holiday blend has wonderful rich flavor and aroma of the holidays, toasty nutty flavor and warm spice. The medium roasted ground coffee made a wonderful espresso.

This coffee is amazing, the packaging is very cute with colorful design and the quality of the coffee is great. It has great smell and the taste is very strong and I love it. I think it can be a great breakfast coffee to help you start your day fresh and strong.

This blend makes a good cup of coffee. I’ve used it in a percolator, a drip and a reusable Keurig pod. It’s pretty smooth and not bitter or burnt tasting.

I’ve tried a number of different coffee brands but believe this is the perfect blend. I use a re-usable pod in a Keurig and it’s a great cup of coffee.

It’s a little early for Christmas decorating but this bag does bring a little holiday cheer as it sits on your kitchen counter.I prefer medium roast coffees so this is right up my alley in terms of bitterness and overall coffee profile. You do get a slightly cozier taste profile from this coffee, though I’m not sure if I specifically taste notes of almond or spices. But it’s a pleasant taste profile and overall is pretty smooth overall. It’s pre-ground so you do need to use it up pretty quickly before it gets stale.Overall it’s a good quality coffee that tastes good!

This is great for ground coffee. It’s a “holiday blend” but there are none of your typical spices like clove, etc. It’s not flavored, just pure coffee.There are some tasting notes that are reminiscent of the holiday season: cocoa, allspice, gingerbread. But overall it tastes more like a good medium-dark roast coffee. There is almost no acidity, and very little brightness.The coffee is very fresh and I love the artwork.Overall – great coffee from Lavazza, and a nice change of pace from their regular lineup.

I love holiday blend coffees and often buy extra of good ones to last me beyond the holidays. I was excited to try this one as it’s a good brand and had beautiful packaging. It seems very fresh and has a nice fine ground. I was disappointed though that neither the smell, nor flavor seemed to be the typical holiday undertones I love so much in holiday blends.

Normally when I see “holiday blend” I’ve come to expect some kind of additional flavor, but this does not have any perceptible non-coffee tastes, it’s just good, decent quality smooth medium roasted coffee. I try to avoid actions that would earn me a “coffee snob” label, I just like my coffee a certain way, but my observation about this blend is that it’s probably leaning more towards a dark than a medium roast, but it’s still fairly smooth, not noticeably bitter. The grind is a little finer than I usually see in pre-ground coffee so I used the bulk of this bag to make some cold brew, but I did use the remainder for some regular cups. Overall it’s a nice premium coffee at a decent price for a little treat around the holidays.

I really don’t get any holiday vibes from it to be a holiday blend. I brewed it strong so I had the full taste of it but really it was just good coffee. It lost a star for the name being a bit misleading but good coffee is good coffee. I even gave it to my mom who is STRICT with only having one brand she uses and even she thought it was good but nothing holiday like about it. The scent is really nice too! I love coffee so finding a good coffee is always a win. I’ll be getting it again, but if you gave me a bunch of regular coffee and mixed this in like a taste test variety and told me to find the holiday one, I really wouldn’t be able to tell.

Just a heads up – this medium roast is strong and closer to a dark roast in my opinion. It has a touch of acidity to it, but it’s slightly bitter and the spice notes they mention are barely noticeable. I know that probably sounds bad but I actually like it. It is definitely fresh for ground coffee (lots of foaming/bubbling in my AeroPress).I buy Lavazza Tierra for Amazonia medium roast as my daily drinker, and that is also a medium roast. However, it is much lighter and more acidic/fruity compared to this Holiday Blend which I think is closer to their Gran Selezione or Intenso dark roast flavors if you have ever had them. The bag is also very festive – definitely worth picking up if you want to get into the holiday season.

First of all, I have to bring up how stunning the art on the pouch is — just looking at it gets me in the holiday mood, and it’s very pretty to look at. Some of the best coffee pouch art I’ve ever seen. The ground blend is pretty good. Could be my brewing methods (though I tried two different methods), but I found it to be a touch too bitter; however, it’s definitely a cozy medium roast that will be in my rotation more frequently closer to the holidays.

The baggie is really small, but that’s fine, as we don’t drink too much coffee in this household. The scent of the coffee is amazing, very nutty and appetizing. However, the actual flavor of the coffee doesn’t really match the scent all too much; it just tastes like regular, unflavored black coffee, with none of the nutty flavors that the scent would have you think is present. But if you like the regular coffee taste, this would be fine for you.

This coffee hit the spot. I prefer dark roast. However, this medium roast was flavorful and smooth. I used the coffee for both regular and cold brew and enjoyed the flavor profile for the two. I really like how the bag was designed. Gets you in the holiday spirit even if it is just October.

Flavorful blend, didn’t notice and ‘extra’ flavors that occasionally get put into these holiday blends. I’m by no means a coffee snob, usually content to get whatever is on sale at the grocery store. I found that some of the cheaper brands often have a bit of ‘hot tire’ smell when brewed, but got none of that here. Medium roast seems accurate, not as strong as some I’ve had, but plenty of coffee flavor.

The coffee tastes and smells good. It’s smooth and not too strong or too light and doesn’t leave any bitter aftertaste. The art on the bag is very pretty. I love looking at it. The bag comes with a sticker to help seal the bag after opening but I prefer using an airtight jar for my coffee. Overall, it’s good coffee and the price isn’t too bad for what you get.

This coffee has a beautiful festive design with Italian and New York xmas vibes combined. Apart from that there is no real festive taste or smell from this coffee – although it is still a delicious medium to strong dark coffee. Using it in my aeropress and the ground is perfect for this method of making coffee. Highly recommended!

This Lavazza holiday blend ground coffee is delicious. It’s not quite as good as my go-to Lavazza Classico but it’s still really good. It has a bold, strong and smooth flavor. The coffee has a medium/fine grind and it works well in a refillable kcup too. The Rifle Paper Co. bag is very pretty and it would look great on display for the holidays.

This coffee has a delicious and full bodied, rich coffee flavor.It’s supposed to be a holiday blend and the packaging states that it is flavored with warm spice and toasted almonds, but I don’t taste either at all. It just tastes like an excellent cup of coffee.
