Bought to narrow down my favorite for work (drank black)!
After trying all of these, after instantly giving away the flavored ones, I narrowed down what I think is the best couple options to get in bulk. Turns out my favorite is the Green Mountains Columbia Select single origin (more below), followed closely by Newman’s Own Special Blend, and then Green Mountain Nantucket Blend 🙂 hope this helps someone trying to decide!The Columbia Select is the best, in my opinion, because it is not too bitter, balanced well by sour, which leaves a rich but mellow cup that I can drink easily 🙂 I’m not much in very bitter coffee, such as your standard Folgers or something like that.

Variety Coffee for Variety of Breakfasts
I love flavored decaf coffee & these variety flavors are great in the morning. I do add vanilla syrup as well and froth milk, makes it like a latte. The variety has flavors to go with a more sweet breakfast, ie donuts, & a more bitter for a savory breakfast, like eggs/bacon &/or bagels.

Didn’t Use, But Great Company
Bought for a guy I was seeing, kept telling me he was burnt out on his usual coffee so he would drive an extra 30 minutes to different places to find a new flavor. Turned out he was seeing different girls on Tinder and meeting them at coffee shops. Company gave me a refund and let me keep it, I ended up giving it all to a friend.

Great selection of Coffee, Teas and Hot Chicolate
For those of us that like selections , this is a nice assortment. My only advice would be to only have 1-2 teas selections and more hot chocolate. I’m not a tea drinker but kept it for family members. The coffee selection is great. From string coffees to mild to flavored. It allows you to try different brands and I like drinking a different coffee depending on my mood that day. Lol

Good selection of flavored coffees
I’ve purchased this set I believe 3 or 4 times now. I did try another set labeled Crazy Cups variety pack and while it did contain a large variety of brand names, too many of the included flavors were variations of vanilla, the most common and most overused, found practically everywhere in every brand. However, to be fair, it was Vanilla French Toast by Wolfgang Puck that ended up being the 5-star in that entire set and THAT one in particular I would be willing to purchase. Refer to that review for details.But back to THIS particular sampler, which offers 4 each of 10 flavors; alas, one of those flavors is French Vanilla by Green Mountain. As I consider vanilla to be extremely overused and the “safe” option and everyone knows what to expect with vanilla, I’m not going to bother reviewing it. It’s good, just not remarkable (unlike Wolfgang Puck as above). My goal with morning coffee is variety. No matter how good a coffee is, I really don’t want the same one every day, so having a sampler is the best choice for me because otherwise I could take up an entire kitchen cabinet stacked with boxes of different flavors.From an aroma standpoint, every brand included has very aromatic coffees. They smell fresh and are eye opening just in that regard. It would be difficult to nail down a favorite here because they’re all really good, clean tasting coffees with no underlying burnt notes or “off” flavors. The Cinnabon and the Gloria Jean Raspberry Chocolate Lava I would deem to be dessert coffees. I rarely want them first thing in the morning (morning for me is 3am) as their aroma can come across as cloying but with cake or pie or even just later in the morning as cup #2 are great choices. Caribou Caramel Hideaway has the rich, smooth notes of caramel without the sweet. I love it and it’s my favorite of the sampler. Gloria Jean’s Butter Toffee and the Kahlua both have a balanced flavor and light aroma and are good first-thing-in-the-morning choices and I’m very fond of these too. Donut Shop’s Coconut Mocha and Nutty Caramel: I don’t really detect coconut, nut, or mocha in these and more emphasis seems placed on the coffee bean itself IMO, and I’m good with that. I try to imagine that if I was eating a plain cake donut with either of these coffees, the pairing would be perfect. Less interesting and typically left for last (second to boring vanilla) is the Gloria Jean Hazelnut, another highly overused flavor and seems acidic to me. Good, yes I suppose, but not all that noteworthy, not when compared to the above. Green Mountain Southern Pecan is okay but their Caramel Vanilla Cream is the better of the two. The common denominator in many of these is the caramel which offers a really nice smoothness to offset acidity.Buy this flavor pack. You won’t be sorry.

Krispy Kreme Classic- Light Flavor no after sting or “coffee jolt”. No burnt or overpowering textures. Not coffee breath after taste. Would not buy individually.Revv Dark Roast Coffee- I can taste the hint of darkness and the smoke, not over powering. A good balance. If you are a dark coffee drinker you may enjoy this pod. Great price for an awesome selection of different roasts (light, med, dark). I was paying $3.85 EVERY morning for a cup of coffee from the “green coffee store”… Although good, it adds up FAST.I think this box breaks down to something like 50¢ a cup or something, and I haven’t tasted a bad one yet (although I’m not keen on “flavored” coffees, hazelnut, toffee, etc). Side note, this variety box is compatible with my Keurig Mini.I’m excited to get through this box and try another variety box. A different cup, blend, roast level, and flavor every morning! 🙌

As a Keurig newbie I wanted to sample a good variety and gauge both the difference between drip brew and french press, and the variety of coffees out there. Please keep in mind I tend to prefer medium roasts, and while I’m not a coffee snob in the slightest I do know the difference between a good cup and garbage, and totally appreciate the differences in roasts, brewing, and even the beans themselves.Most of these were sweetened as per my usual method of milk with chocolate and/or caramel sauce. Excellent flavor variety
I’ve purchased this pack multiple times, it’s my go-to coffee pods for my Keurig. It comes with a lot of different flavors. Most are just black, but there are a few that have a hint of sweet flavor which if perfect for myself and those who don’t really like much sugar in their coffee. It is a bit pricey, but worth it for a variety pack.

The beginning of this review is for the DECAFFEINATED pack, which has 22 K-Cups, but have included information on a the COFFEE LOVERS variety pack as well as the BOLD LOVERS variety pack. I have tried them all!The DECAFF variety pack has four selections to chose from:-6 cups Dark Magic-6 cups Breakfast Blend-6 Newmans Own Special-4 Vermont CountryI have had the Dark Magic (as both regular and decaff), which is a dark coffee, and the DECAFF tastes SO MUCH like the regular that it makes me DOUBLE CHECK the k-cup each time to make sure I indeed brewed a decaff. Crazy! Very bold, dark, delicious. Same goes for the Vermont Country. I would not know it was decaff unless I looked at the packaging. I am not a huge fan of Newmans Own Special anyway, so as a decaff it is equally ho-hum. Vermont Country and Newmans Own are medium roasts, but Vermont has a stronger, bolder flavor. Breakfast blend is good enough; it is a light roast, and light roasts are my least favorite. The first two are my favorite though. The options offered in this box is nice especially if you have more than one decaff drinker in the house, or you are trying to figure out which kind you like. It is a good mix for that purpose. I liked having opportunity to try a few extra types of decaff K-cups. I will likely continue with just buying the Dark Magic as that is as special tasting as their regular caffeinated K-cup.I drink regular coffee to get me though the day, but sometimes I still want coffee but it is getting too late in the day or I have already had too much. Keeping decaffeintated k-cups on hand allows me to enjoy the ritual of a cup of coffee without the expense of poor sleep. Or I can use it as a base for a hot beverage with alcohol in it (usually some sort of Irish Creme). The DARK MAGIC and the VERMONT COUNTRY hold up their strong coffee flavor with addition of cream or booze. Great black, too. If you like a lighter, more tangy flavor profile then the Newmans Own or Breakfast blend will suit you. What I like most about these DECAFF options is that they don’t taste watered down. Some decaff just tastes like a lesser version of the original. Trust that the DARK MAGIC and VERMONT COUNTRY taste like regular strong coffee. Yum!Now, the decaff box was a VINE item for me. I had already purchased the COFFEE LOVERS as well as the BOLD LOVERS, and had written a combined review under verified purchase. Since all these varieties are lumped under one, I could not write my Vine until I deleted my Verified 🙁 BUT, I am still including the information from those on here, so you can read through the few variety packs I have enjoyed so far.The following review is for the box of the “COFFEE LOVERS” mixed variety pack (I then came back to purchase the BOLD roast lovers variety pack, and I added a note about that at the end).So.. Not too shabby of a selection. I prefer bold, dark coffee and my husband prefers medium to light roasts. I don’t mind medium so long as it has a robust flavor. I almost never do light nor flavored. This pack seemed like a worthwhile mix. I am already a big fan of Dark Magic. All the darks were good and bold, some stronger than others. I have had a few of the medium- all good, especially the Krispy Kreme Classic. Nice middle of road coffee with decent flavor. I won’t touch the light. As for flavored- not really my thing, but I don’t mind one on occasion or mixed with regular. Or offered to guests. LOL. Truly though, this is a nice mix. It got me to try some brands that I haven’t before and to try some roasts that I may not have considered before. I think it would make a nice gift, or just simply for something different to try. The K-cups are loose in a box and I just reach in and surprise myself. This BOLD LOVERS is the best for my preferences, and the COFFEE LOVERS mix is great for finding something for anyone who wants a cup of coffee. I keep buying the BOLD LOVERS, and now I may or may not add in the DECAFF variety mix on occasion (all are good, I just prefer two so greatly of the four, that I would be more inclined to just buy a box of the ones I like most).As for any of the coffees tried in these variety packs, I tend to only buy a couple of types, so this has been a VERY nice way to try all sorts of different ones. I have learned about some options I never would have thought to try, and these have been a real treat. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these mixed boxes. NICE JOB!!___________________________In addition to the many K-cups I have tried here and the multiple boxes I have gone through.. I have not had a single issue with brewing. EACH AND EVERY cup has brewed perfectly and tasted fresh. When I receive a new box, I count the K-cups to make sure I have the amount stated. So far, I have always received the correct amount.

Excellent flavored variety that allows one to find their favorite flavored coffee
I recently broke down and purchased a Keurig after all these years. My boyfriend is the coffee drinker and I rarely drink it. However, I purchased this on subscribe and save along with the
coffee lover’s variety pack
.There are 40 k-cups in this box and 4 of each kind of the below 10 flavors. I critiqued each one.1 – Gloria Jean’s Coffees Butter Toffee – I found this sligthly bitter without any toffee flavor; my rating 2 stars. My boyfriend actually liked the way this tasted; his rating 4 stars.2- Gloria Jean’s Coffees Hazelnut – this was way too bitter for me and had no hazelnut flavor; my rating 2 stars. My boyfriend found it bitter and lacked flavor but he rated it 3 stars.3- Gloria Jean’s Raspberry Chocolate Lava – both my boyfriend and I found this to be smooth with a raspberry flavor that tastes like chocolate dessert; rating 4 stars4- The Original Donut Shop Nutty Caramel – this has a nice smooth flavor that tastes like hazelnut instead of caramel; my rating is 4.5 stars. Note that my boyfriend did not try this one.5 – The Original Donut Shop Coconut Mocha – I found it strong and bitter but still smooth; my rating 2 stars. My boyfriend felt this was smooth and rated it 4 stars.6- Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll – to me this brew tasted too washed out. I also found it to be very bitter; my rating 1 star. My boyfriend found this to be sharp, light (washed out), and bold but he gave it 3 stars.7- Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Caramel Vanilla Cream – both my boyfriend and I found this to be smooth with a nice caramel flavor; rating 4 stars8- Green Mountain Coffee Roasters French Vanilla – this coffee has a smooth clean French Vanilla flavor; my rating is 4.5 stars. Note that my boyfriend did not try this one.9 – Khalua Original – this coffee is supposedly flavored with rum, vanilla, and caramel but we could not taste that. However, we both found it excellent and smooth; rating 5 stars. I would definitely purchase this.10 – Caribou Coffee Caramel Hideaway Hide & Seek – we both found this coffee too strong with a light caramel taste; rating 3 stars.In summary, I think this is an excellent purchase so that one can make up their mind about what coffees they like or to have a variety for company. Now that I tried this, I will cancel my subscription and and order the Khalua Original which was outstanding. I would also order the Green Moutain flavors because they are very good. In fact, I have their Hazelnut and it’s excellent although that version was not included in this package.UPDATE July 13, 2020 – I also ordered a box of their coffee

May not be value for money, but certainly shows you what’s available in the K-Cup world
Its been a while since I wrote a review, but since I kept notes to help me understand how each of these flavors stack up, I thought I’d share them. For context, I am just a regular coffee drinker, and by no means an aficionado. That said, this is just a summary of which of these flavors I liked and why:Gloria Jean Butter Toffee:• Taste: Tastes a bit artificial with a strong hint of toffee• Aroma: Smells nice, but with a bit of bitterness following the initial hit of toffee• Aftertaste: Nice• Last thoughts: Memorable• Overall: 6.5/10REVV – No Surrender Dark Roast• Taste: Quite bitter, no character – feels like drinking machine oil (maybe because its dark roast and my palette is not used to a darker blend)• Aroma: No discernable aroma – very flat• Aftertaste: Limited, bitter almonds• Last Thoughts: Totally forgettable• Overall: 3/10 (just because it has caffeine)Donut Shop Regular Medium Roast:• Taste: Conventional and pleasant, nothing earth-shattering• Aroma: Not particularly assertive• Aftertaste: Pleasant• Last thoughts: Something that can be consumed daily• Overall: 7/10Gloria Jean’s Hazelnut• Taste: Smooth and flavorful, yet not overpowering. Very slight metallic undertone, albeit brief.• Aroma: Distinct and pleasant (it is Hazelnut, after all). Has authority without trying too hard. Sophisticated and smooth.• Aroma: Quite light and inoffensive – almost negligible• Aftertaste: Pleasant• Last thoughts: Best dark roast yet• Overall: 8/10Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Coffee• Taste: Tastes like cinnamon rolls and coffee – in a nice way. Quite pleasant on the palate.• Aroma: Very aromatic – pleasant, smooth, wafting aroma• Aftertaste: Sweet and pleasant• Last thoughts: Much like the Gloria Jean’s flavored coffees (Toffee and Hazelnut); this is just a shade more refined.• Overall: 7.5/10Caribou Daybreak Morning Blend• Taste: Not very pleasant, sometimes accompanied by a grimace if the gulp is too big. Bitter.• Aroma: Light and unexceptional• Aftertaste: None• Last thoughts: Supremely forgettable• Overall: 5.5/10Krispy Kreme Classic Medium Roast• Taste: Very middle of the road coffee taste – pleasant, subdued, yet all there. The best Green Mountain I have tasted thus far.• Overall: 8/10Tully’s Coffee Hawaiian Blend (Medium Roast)• Taste: A very pure and refined coffee flavor. The better of the two Tully’s on offer, though the first one was very good as well.• Aroma: Light and pleasant• Aftertaste: Sweet• Last thoughts: Not bad at all• Overall: 8.5/10Caribou – Caribou Blend• Taste: The best I have tasted in this bunch thus far. Excellent!• Aroma: Somewhat sweet• Aftertaste: Sweet• Last thoughts: Excellent and memorable, primarily because there is nothing offensive about it.• Overall: 8.75/10I ended up getting the ground coffee version (not K-Cup) of Caribou Coffee (Caribou Blend) once it was all said and done. I rated each and every capsule down to the last one!Before you read my ratings it’s important to note that different people enjoy different flavors of coffee. This is just according to my personal tastes! I like to drink coffee black to get the full flavor of the coffee alone so obviously if you mix it with cream, milk, sugar or other added flavorings it will taste a lot different.Now… MY RATINGS (listed from best to worst):1. Laughing man – Dukale’s Blend medium roast: Probably the best medium roast coffee I’ve ever had.2. Green Mountain – Colombian Select Medium Roast: Another really good medium roast here.3. Caribou – Caribou Blend: Delicious. These guys apparently just make good coffee :)4. Caribou – Daybreak: Delicious.5. Rev – No Surrender: Very Good!6. Tully’s – Italian Roast: Pretty good.7. Gloria Jeans Hazlenut: Don’t normally like flavored coffees but this one is pretty good! Watch out though, I got a little bit of heartburn/indigestion from drinking this one.8. Newman’s Own – Special Blend Medium Roast: Good but not as good as the above medium roasts.9. Newman’s French Roast: Pretty good.10. Donut Shop – Regular: This one’s actually better than I expected. Not bad at all.11. Donut Shop – Dark: Also not bad! Way to go Donut shop.12. Cinnabon – Classic Cinnamon Roll: Again, don’t normally do a lot of flavored coffees but this one was decent!13. Green Mountain Medium Blend: Tastes ok.14. Tully’s Hawaiian blend: Ok.15. Gloria Jean’s – Butter Toffee: I guess it’s not horrible, it’s just not my kind of coffee.16. Green Mountain Coffee, Dark Magic: Getting into the just ok but not so great ones.17. Laughing man – Colombia Huila Dark Roast: Meh. Didn’t really care for this one.18. Laughing Man Dark Roast: Ok but not the greatest.19. Krispy Kreme Smooth: Now getting into the just bad ones. I always used to think their in-store coffee was just old but nope, it apparently comes pre-olded… It just taste like old coffee.20. Kahlua Original – Light Roast: I personally think this one is disgusting. It might even be the worst coffee I’ve ever had. I couldn’t drink more than a couple of sips before throwing the rest out (I tried both capsules just in case). It just tastes like maple syrup… like drinking straight up liquid syrup out of a bottle. If you absolutely LOVE pancake syrup then you might be able to stomach this one. Otherwise… avoid.Thanks to this Variety pack, I now know which ones I’m ordering next! I’m ordering the top 5 in this list so that I’ll still have some variety from day to day but It’ll just be the good ones :)LOVED the adventure of this variety pack though! It’s well worth the money (maybe except for that nasty Kahlua one) and it’ll give you a ton of variety from day to day/morning to morning! Before this I was just trying K-cups 1-by-1 but it was taking forever and if I didn’t like one… welp… I was stuck with it till I ran out. So yeah, this variety back was amazing :)Also worth noting that mine came with exactly 2 of each. I see other reviews on here saying that some were missing or mixed up. Maybe they’ve gotten better at quality control? Either that or I was just lucky.Anyway, hope this is helpful to someone else out there!

Sample Coffee Pods pack is great
This grab bag of different coffee pods turned out to be a lot of fun and good tasting. I found a couple I reordered individually, that I wouldn’t have known about otherwise, like the Tully’s Hawaiian Blend. My friends liked the Kahlua and Laughing Cow. I am reordering. It’s good quality and nice to have a variety.

I have this pack delivered once every 3 months to my office. (I rotate through a couple different samplers so we don’t get bored.)Love that there are 4 of each flavor- so that either you can have a favorite more than once and/or you can share a favorite with a friend.Packing was good- both the k-cups and the box were in great condition. (No damage, nor ruined/squished k-cups.)We really enjoy this sampler and like to get it multiple times a year.

Variety is the spice of life
Having a variety of flavors to choose from fits my idea of trying something different. There is not one flavor that I have not enjoyed. Many mornings it is a difficult decision in picking the flavor. For those who don’t like the so old so old this is your perfect choice.
