Bold flavor, awesome aroma, decaf, compatible with original line Nespresso machines
This coffee is beautiful! A lot of the time, decaf coffee just “doesn’t do it”. It often lacks a full coffee flavor. This coffee, I am happy to say, tastes like regular coffee even without the caffeine.I made an espresso with it just now and wow! The flavor is incredible! It is bold and robust, earthy and chocolate-y. The taste is of superior, high quality coffee.I have an Essenza Nespresso machine, about 20 years old, and this is a perfect fit. It says the capsules are compatible with “Nespresso OriginalLine coffee machines”. Note that it is not compatible with other brands of machines.If you have a Nespresso machine, this is a terrific choice of coffee.

the taste is good
These capsules fit my coffee machine, I did not notice too much difference comparing with that brewing from the Starbucks’ dark roast on the taste, but felt the coffee aroma is a little light. I drank two cups mixing with half & half in middle of day. The taste was good, a smooth flavor and roasted, and keep me refresh for the day, worth a try.

Intense flavor.
This makes a pretty strong cup of espresso. I did notice that a couple of pods were a bit darker and stronger than some others but they were still very enjoyable.

Good deal!
At 80 cents a pod, I am very happy with the taste of the coffee. I can taste the dark chocolate and was a good medium roast. Pretty strong in my opinion and not diluted or watery. Happy and would order this flavor again at the current price.

Had to make as coffee
I had to break this pod open and remove the grounds as our espresso machine was out of order. The grounds were very aromatic, fresh, and fine. I made a cup using a reusable k cup. I loved this coffee! It was mild, smooth , and not bitter. Very high quality tasting.

Delicious and versatile — and almost gone already!
We’ve tried Tiger Nebula from this brand before and it’s so good! My husband likes it as hot, black shots and I like using it in hot or iced espresso-based drinks. Very versatile and tastes fresh too 😍 The pods we received in June 2023 were roasted in May 2023 and BB May 2024.

Great bold flavor
These capsules are very good. They are high quality freshly roasted (two and a half weeks ago!!) coffee that tastes great! All the aromas are heavenly! You will not be disappointed if you like a good espresso! It is great alone (great crema!) and delicious as cappuccinos.

Delicious coffee
I admit, I order this secretly hoping it might fit my Kurig machine… no such luck! But these little pods really pack a punch. I opened one up & put the contents in a Kurig style filter…worked perfectly. I’m not sure of the caffeine level, but it woke me up & kept me awake long enough to attend a late night family outing. Would recommend

Lovely decaf Espresso
The smell was the first thing I noticed about this, even without opening or making a cuppa. While I didn’t have the right maker to use this with I have a single cup coffee maker and opening the pod and putting it in then pouring the water atop made it perfectly. I plan to get a reusable cup to put the coffee in to make it easier. The taste is rich and smooth, I did add a little liquid creamer to it and it made it so lovely to sip and I’m not a big drinker of coffee or Espresso

Nice (but not too intense) dark roast
Basically, two pods of this makes me a nice tasting dark roast (Gran Lungo sized) coffee. This tastes great with a little cream or creamer for that matter. They seem competitively priced as well for Nespresso single-serve cups.

Closer to a medium roast coffee
These pods work well in the Nespresso machine and have good flavor. They are supposed to be bold dark roast but compared to my normal dark roast they are closer to a medium roast coffee. I always use the same amount of milk in my coffee and when using these it was much lighter in color and didn’t taste near as strong.

I got several different flavors of this brand and enjoyed this coffee but I do use 2 pods and mix mine with ice, syrup, and half n half to make a fancy coffee drink. It works really good for that. Your mileage may vary if you are drinking it straight. The pods worked great in our older machine.

Satisfying flavor
These decaf pods fit perfectly in my Nespresso Originalline machine. It brews like your standard Nespresso pod and I didn’t have any issues with the pods getting stuck or over-dispensing water.The flavor is a medium intensity and tastes pretty good for decaf. I like to drink this in the evening when I want the coffee flavor without the caffeine jolt. It’s satisfying and I would get this again.

Notes of dark chocolate and roasted almonds highlight this Nespresso compatible pod. Works in my Gretesse machine with no issues. 10 pods are included in a package. Love the name too, Blackbeards Revenge which is a medium roast.

Mild Taste
This is a very delicious roast- fruity, sweet notes with a mild coffee taste. Much lighter coffee taste than I prefer, but still delicious. I like that the entire thing is either recyclable or compostable.

Smooth and fruity flavor, but overall mild in strength.
Works perfectly with my Nespresso machine, I’ve been disappointed before with compatibility issues. The coffee comes out with a mild, pleasant, and smoked berry flavor, but not really strong enough to my liking. It actually tastes more like a medium roast blend than dark, honestly. Disappointing, considering that this is supposed to be an espresso blend.

Good flavor
We drink decaf almost exclusively, so are always looking for something new. This is a good decaf espresso – not the boldest flavor, but good. The aroma is very good, the coffee brewed well, and we were pleased with the taste, though we like a little more intensity.

Bitter After Taste – Bali
I bought all three – Bali, Timor, and Colombian. The Bali and Timor were very bitter. Bali being the worst. The Colombian was smoother and I would order it again.

Most disappointing , taste bitter and they don’t all work. Some only drip in my machine. Others work perfectly. Thought it might have been something good and new. Only good thing nice pod and great value. Threw them out. Pity

Pretty strong
These pods are pretty good and I’m able to use just 2 instead of most brands that require three to make my morning iced espresso drink. Because I can brew one as a double and the other as a single to get a good balance of strength they’re a decent value compared to others but they’re definitely not my most favorite flavor wise. I did try brewing with 3 instead of 2 and it’s about the same. They’re pretty decent though.

Bold, smooth coffee that’s also a good value
Our Nespresso machine has been acting up, so we popped open a couple of capsules and made coffee the old fashioned way in our Technivorm Moccamaster.Simply put, it was delicious, full flavored coffee. Strong and bold without a bitter flavor or aftertaste.

Not Bad but Not Strong
These coffee pods did not create as bold a cup as advertised. Perhaps they weren’t as fresh as necessary to pack a perfect punch. They are recyclable and compostable which is a huge improvement over K-Pods.

One blend that caught my eye was the Organic Drago, a medium roast with an intensity score of 8. Average but Fair
I’ve been sipping on these organic Drago coffee capsules for my Nespresso OriginalLine for a bit now. The taste? Well, it’s pretty middle-of-the-road, nothing to write home about. But then again, considering the price, I’m not exactly grumbling. It’s a bargain, really. So, if you’re not too fussy about your coffee, give it a shot. After all, it’s not half bad for an everyday cup.

Okay not the freshest flavor and not strong or rich but it’s okay
It has a more one dimensional coffee taste and doesn’t taste super fresh. I brewed it both hot and cold to try it and both ways it’s okay, but not the full rich coffee taste that I prefer. It is not strong, and not over roasted. So it does have a more mild taste. If you prefer a light coffee flavor without any roasted or burnt undertone then this might be great for you.

Decent cup of espresso
I’m not much of a connoisseur of espresso as of yet. Just got my new machine recently and was interested in trying out different types. These fit nicely in my machine and produced a nice cup of espresso. I guess I just don’t have the finer taste buds like some since I really didn’t get all those flavors. I know they are supposed to be subtle, but I was not tasting much more than the coffee.My first venture into this new field of espresso has started and I’m hoping to get better. Overall it’s a nice tasting product.

Didn’t wow me
My wife and I are almost 100% decaf coffee drinkers, primarily drinking the Nespresso Arpeggio (9) and Ristretto (10). I compared the Fresh Roasted Coffee (FRC) Decaf Espresso Capsules against those two, and sadly, it came up a bit short.My first FRC jammed in my Pixie, but I had no issues after that (they look like they may be overfilled with nitrogen). We found that the FRC did not product as much crema as either of the other two. The taste was milder, but that’s to be expected as it’s an 8 intensity. It was quite good however, so like all coffees, it’s really personal preference.Price is another issue. This is more expensive than standard Nespresso capsules. If I’m going to spend more I want something really special. I’ll still give this 4 stars, as the coffee experience is so subjective, but these didn’t wow me or my wife.

Tiger Nebula pods are a bit on the weak side
I like to try various non-brand Nespresso pods, especially because most of them are cheaper than the original ones. In the case of these pods, though, at a current price of a dollar a pod, they are actually more expensive than the regular Nespresso pods. So they better be amazing. I found they were just fair. I made a lungo with foam in my Lattissima machine and the coffee flavor was largely lost whereas with other medium intensity pods, I can definitely still taste the coffee. I’ll try these again with no milk and report back if my opinion changes, but the value is still a sticking point. Unless the price of the pods dropped under what the Nespresso pods cost, I wouldn’t consider reordering.

Good strong coffee flavor but missing notes and questionable capsules
As advertised this coffee sounded amazing! It’s called Tiger Nebula and has notes of chocolate, caramel, and citrus? However, those notes in this coffee are extremely subtle and it ended up tasting like normal coffee. Smooth and strong coffee but no notes. The citrus I could tell was there as the flavor was brighter but not very prevalent.I am not the biggest fan of the capsules. I’m not sure if its because of the ridges on the bottom or the color used to cover them but I had one get stuck in my machine. I had to try and get a fingernail under the lip to release it from the chamber but the foil off the top just peeled back releasing the grounds. I ended up having to get a butter knife and pry it free.

Very good aroma
This coffee has very nice aroma that fills up the room. It tastes smooth enough that I can drink without milk. There’s not as much foam as I would normally get from ground espresso but it tasted good. I don’t really know much about criteria for espresso but I enjoyed drinking this one.

Rich enough
Usually these pods have a weaker tasting coffee. They’re okay, I just like stronger coffee so I can add just a touch of cream and still have the nice rich flavor.This coffee is good. Is strong enough where I did enjoy my cup this morning.Easy to use in the Nespresso machine. Price is a bit on the higher end where I don’t think I’d buy online until prices come down a bit more.

Yum.
There’s not a whole lot to harp on here. ‘Tiger Nebula’ reflects a medium blend pretty well. Aromatic, not super strong. Decently smooth and has equally decent crema. Works well in my Breville machine; no issues with compatibility. This is a wholly inoffensive blend and something everyone could drink without finding fault. It does mean that this blend isn’t particularly nuanced either, but that’s fine with me. I’d get it again.

Good flavor
I really like the flavor of the tiger nebula nespresso coffee. The capsule size is for the original line, where the pods are narrower and elongated, and it fits my machine perfectly. Intensity level is 6, which is about as far as i can go on the nespresso line, everything beyond that is too strong for me. The flavor is strong but not overwhelming, and doesn’t taste watered down like some lower intensity coffees. Overall really good coffee.

Medium Roast – Nice Aroma – Easy to Prepare
I am really impressed by these Organic Drago Espresso coffee capsules. They exceeded my expectations for sure! The individual pods are super convenient when I just want one cup of coffee and don’t want to mess with brewing a whole pot. The taste is surprisingly smooth for an espresso, although it does have a little boldness. I didn’t notice any unpleasant acidity as with some coffees. It has a nice aroma, and a good flavor. I got a light buttery aftertaste which was such a delight, and I can pick up on the butter rum and lemon notes, too.I think these little capsules might quickly become my go-to afternoon pick-me-up. I like using them with a little sugar and cream, but this espresso is also delicious on its own. I just can’t find anything wrong with it. It’s a pleasure to drink!

Rich flavor
I enjoyed the bold flavor of the Fresh Roasted Coffee Espresso Capsule. I ordered Organic Drago, a medium roast with an intensity score 8. While it was bold, I would score it closer to a 6. The capsules fit perfectly in my Nespresso. I made a drip coffee and noted the subtle hints of butter rum and lemon zest. It is a very smooth cup of coffee. The price is excellent, at .90 cents per cup.

I ‘ve been using these to make a 6 oz cup of coffee, and they produce a surprisingly robust flavor…pods and K-cups are not always predictable in delivering a good, strong flavor, but these are delivering on that, even when not using them on the espresso setting.

Delicious Espresso!
I ordered this espresso in the Italian Roast. The intensity level is 12 and there are 10 capsules included. These brewed up well in my original line Pixie. I love dark, rich espresso and this one is great! It has a deep and bittersweet flavor. I was very pleased and felt like I ordered it at a coffee shop! I also love that this is roasted, blended, and packaged in the United States. I would order this again and look forward to trying other flavors!

Smooth rich flavor.
I made a cup using this Nepresso capsule and I was impressed with the flavor. It’s smooth, no bitterness and full bodied. I definitely taste the chocolate and almond flavors. This coffee is very good and I recommend it.

Deliciously bold
I like this blend because it’s bold but not overwhelming for my liking. I added frothed creamer which tasted amazing. Smooth (low acidity), flavorful, and pods work well
I think that this is very good coffee and right up there with my Nespresso favorites. It’s smooth (not bitter or acidic) and plenty of very good flavor. The pods have worked really well so far, too. Some non-Nespresso pods are hard to puncture and/or have to much resistance to the water flow to work well, but these have worked great for me so far. They seem to work just like a regular Nespresso pod.So, great coffee and great pods.

Good Decaf From Aluminum Capsules
These water-process decaf capsules are compatible with Nespresso OriginalLine and similar coffee machines. The flavor is good — not watery at all when brewed as espresso — and relatively smooth, with just a hint of expected bitterness. Although the intensity isn’t the strongest, I find that it satisfies my love of bolder flavors. I love that the manufacturer uses aluminum capsules since they tend to work best in my Nespresso machine.
