Optimal Brewing Instructions
- Medium blend is best in your drip machine
- Use cold clear water
- Add 2 rounded tablespoons for every 6 ounces of water

Needs a ton of sugar to taste good
It tastes mostly like stale pastries if you only use the standard amount of sugar and creamer. It’s quite nice if you use 3 heaping teaspoons of sugar or more, plus a heaping amount of creamer. You need to put in effort to savor the flavors, even still.

Tastes like the donuts but feels like it is Nuclear level caffeine.
I loved the flavor but the caffeine level feels as if it is atomic level, it was very powerful. If you like a lotta caffeine this is your drink.

Tastes Cheap With No Richness of Flavor
I really wanted to like this but it tastes CHEAP + NASTY with no “chocolate donut” taste coming thru once it is brewed. They must be using cheap, stale beans to get something this lame. It does NOT do the Entenmann’s name justice as their baked products are delicious + high quality. Alas, this coffee is neither. Maybe if you’re used to crappy coffee that you’d get at a car repair waiting room or something, then maybe u would like this. I made it once + gave it away to another poor sucker who thought it smelled interesting. Money wasted.

Doesn’t live up to its promise.
I like their chocolate donuts…so I was looking for the same flavor with a little coffee mixed in. How disappointing! I got coffee with very little chocolate mixed in. I wanted to be fair about this review…so I have tried it more than just once. It hasn’t gotten any better.

Not for us.
We drink coffee every day & this one is not one we will buy again. Not a terrible coffee but definitely not an impressive chocolate tasting coffee. We really miss the Ghirardelli’s Chocolate Coffee.

Sweet
I grew up with Entenmann’s donuts. Was hoping to get some of that flavor in this coffee. To me, it just tasted sweet. Not bad, but not a donut fresh out of a cardboard box.

More caramel than chocolate
I love a deep chocolate coffee & after my favorite chocolate donut was discontinued I gave this one a try. It’s pretty good but definitely not chocolate donut tasting. In fact it has a mild caramel flavor. It is pretty sweet so if you prefer more of a coffee flavor or bittersweet this probably won’t be great for you. I lean more towards the bittersweet & this is almost too sweet for my liking. Almost. I probably won’t buy again but I’ll finish what I have just fine.

No chocolate or mocha flavor
I did not like this product because it was advertised as Entenmann’s chocolate donut. It is fine for regular coffee flavor but it in no was has a chocolate donut flavor. It was fresh and came in the same bag as advertised. I’ve since found a mocha creamer! Yay!

I absolutely love this coffee and even the idea that Entenmans made coffee just made me happy. I looked forward to getting it and checking it out and I I’m happy I did. It was yummy , it did taste exactly as it was supposed to and it wasn’t overbearing or fake tasting. It was just like having one of their donuts with my coffee minus all the calories. Definitely going to buy this one again. Just so you know it is a light roast, not bitter and not overly sweet, just right and I highly recommend it

The Taste Is Amazing!
