Definitely one of my favorite coffee brands now
Love this coffee! I’ve only tried the candy cane flavor so far, but I absolutely adore the taste. Have two other flavors in my cabinet that I’m excited to try. So, you may be wondering why I only gave this coffee 4 stars? This coffee comes with a plastic strip of tape to reseal the bag after opening. Personally, I can’t stand these. They always come undone after letting them sit for a while. Luckily I had one of the tin-tie style sealers that come on the coffee bags you buy in store at places like Walmart or Target on hand. But now that means I’ll have to go through this bag first before I can try the other flavors I have 🙁 but of a bummer but hopefully it’ll be worth the wait. Overall, this coffee is great and I will definitely purchase again. I just hope they switch to the tin-ties and ditch the plastic tape in the future.

What’s not to like??
That would be that eventually you reach the bottom of the bag… Amazing coffee with flavor and aroma that will put you right at the Christmas morning, kids ripping gifts open while you still try to get the eyelids to comply to stay open… It’s the best definition of Christmas coffee that I have found anywhere on the market. Not overbearing flavoring, but perfect blend and still give the needed kick so to say! I highly recommend this specific Jingle Bell Java to any and all!! Merry Christmas in a cup – simple as that!

Pricey
I love the peppermint coffee. I discovered it last year. I thought$10.49was high for 10 ounces as most have 12. This year it is 8 ounces for same pricd. I sought it twice as most peppermint coffees add mocha. I have found a local shop that makes pure peppermint ,12 ounces for 9.99. If Door Country goes back to 10 ounces, I will be back. They are the best.

Millstone dupe
If anyone remembers Millstone coffee from years ago in the 90s, there was a Holiday peppermint flavor that I loved! They discontinued Millstone not long after 2000 & I’ve since looked for a coffee that tastes like the Holiday peppermint. I’ve tried several brands/flavors but could never find until this coffee. Just the right amount of peppermint, really smooth flavor. The coffee roast flavor still comes through. This is so close & so good!

Candy cane is not a flavor for me….despite my love of peppermint
I am a peppermint addict. I love the smell, I love the flavor….give me everything peppermint year round and I am happy. I was super excited to try this Door County Candy Cane coffee. Door County is close to where I went to high school and it brought back memories. I thought I would love this coffee but unfortunately, the flavor is just….off. The coffee is fresh and well packaged. I’m sure other flavors are fine, but this candy cane coffee is just not great. Boo. On to the next!

Tasty…and makes the kitchen smell nice
I’m not an expert in coffee, but I can tell drinkable from disgusting, and this is definitely way over on the drinkable side…especially with some sweetener and a double shot of whitener. It’s not really a unique flavor; it reminds me of “Jamaican Me Crazy,” i. e., rich and spicy with flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, and some other stuff in there that I can’t identify, but which tastes and smells really good…..AND it’s decaf! If some people on your gift list like flavored coffee, this should be a hit.

Nice Tasting Coffee….Wouldn’t Think Christmas
I like light brews, and use a Ninja Coffee Bar to make one cup at a time. I drink my coffee black so I can enjoy the subtle flavor notes many coffees have. This coffee is good, and I can taste a hint of cinnamon in it, but I don’t think of Christmas when drinking it.For what it is, it’s good. It took about two cups for me to start fully enjoying it. I would buy again, and am now interested in their other flavors, which I will give a try in due course.

Wonderful peppermint smell and taste
I’m so happy I found this product! I love peppermint, especially around the Christmas holidays. I brewed my first pot this morning and it was just wonderful. I added a dash of peppermint mocha creamer and enjoyed a great cup of coffee. I’m about to order more.

Tastes great! Not sure why some reviews are bad. Nice flavor of Christmas spices. Got this as a gift for some friends & tried it first due to mixed reviews. Definitely giftable. A little pricey for the small amount. They should put “Made In Wisconsin” on the product, definitely think it would be a great selling point. Everyone loves things made in Wisconsin!

Cup of Cheer.
I love Peppermint Coffee and Cocoa, I wanted a brew that had enough of that candy cane taste but didn’t overpower the coffee. THIS IS PERFECT. I need to get a bag for every month of the year stocked up because I don’t think I can have regular coffee again. This is delicious but it becomes even better when paired with a peppermint mocha or white chocolate peppermint creamer. I will be a lifetime customer of this coffee for sure.

Great flavor
The smell of this coffee was like a delicious dark chocolate candy bar. And the flavor did not disappoint. I brew my coffee strong and light on the cream, the flavor of the chocolate was amazing. I don’t do sugar but this gave an almost sweetness without the carbs! Perfect for someone looking for a boost of flavor without the carbs! Will buy again!I cannot wait to try the other flavors!

For a medium roast coffee it. Arrived its own weight ! Rich and flavorful with notes of vanilla , yet never overwhelming .A smooth blend with Christmas notes of holiday spice and sweetness . This will definitely be my go to for Christmas Morning next year as well.

Loved the taste
I tried this coffee brand for my holiday breakfast. Yummy. My only complaint was the packaging. The bag was only about half full when it arrived and although I’m sure the amount was correct, I think putting the grounds in a more suitable sized package would make the customer feel like they weren’t being shortchanged. I would have ordered more, but they were out of stock of the flavor I ordered. I’ll try again next year.

I love Door County Coffee, and this is one of my favorites! Great flavor & so good for the holiday season. I got the whole bean first, then the grounds and there was very little difference in freshness or flavor level between the two. I rebought & plan to buy again!

Smelled great in the package
**update I am upgrading my review as I did just order again from the company. Their coffee is non gmo and gluten free and they got back to me immediately when I asked. There is something to be said about customer service.When I opened this coffee, the aroma was wonderful. However unfortunately brewed the chocolate flavor did not come through. This morning was my third try & I looked down at my coffee cup and saw oils. I know some have that but not that I drink. I really wanted to like this coffee but unfortunately probably wouldn’t order I again.

Best Christmas blend so far
I love seasonal flavored coffees and Christmas coffees have always been my favorite. I looked at the door county coffee a few years in a row but never bought any because I was always finding coffee cheaper at a certain dept store. Well this year I finally did it and I’m kicking myself for not doing it sooner. This is by far my favorite Christmas blend ever. They nailed the perfect amount of spice with just the right roast to make a cup of coffee that tastes even better than it smells and it smells amazing. If you are like me and have been on the fence about this just do it. You’ll be glad you did. Can’t wait to try the White Christmas and Naughty Grog blends now.

Excellent Flavor…
I purchase this coffee every year. Candy cane is different from Peppermint, and Door County has the best candy cane coffee around. The flavor is excellent, and the price is very good. I normally buy the whole bean, but I have gotten the ground, too.I introduced this coffee to my niece, and she loved it so much that when I see it online again, I tell her and she purchases it for herself and a couple of bags for her daughter for Christmas. You can’t go wrong with this coffee. I have tried other flavors and they are just as good, too.

Amazing! I wasn’t sure that I would enjoy coffee with notes of cinnamon, but this has become my new favorite! I only wish that this flavor was available year-round, but it will just be something I can look forward to when the holidays come around again. I will definitely be purchasing more! I’m really disappointed in this coffee, the flavor is ok, you can taste the rum but you can not taste the cinnamon or nutmeg and that’s why I bought it. I don’t think I’d buy it again.
