USB powered
I didn’t realize it was battery powered when ordering. Slower than plug in models. Small bean hopper, need to fill it twice to make a quart of French press coffee.

Worked great for a couple months (5 stars), but now it turns off after 5-10 sec
With a fully loaded bean tray, the device shuts off after 5-10 seconds of grinding and is rather annoying. I’ve tried cleaning the bean shoot, grinding burr and fully charging the battery.

Broke before I could really use it.
Went to adjust the burrs for grind size, found the burrs didn’t really fit together (one was lopsided). Wanted to see if it could handle fine grinding, so I adjusted it to where it looked like the burrs could still rotate while allowing as small a particle size as possible out of the grinder. Turned it on while empty and it immediately jammed. Nothing in the instructions says anything about the red light that showed on the power button when I did this, and I didn’t want to plug it in to charge in this condition, so I let it alone.Any solution at this point would be too obtuse for my preference, so this product was just a waste of money to me.

Don’t Purchase / Doesn’t Work
This coffee grinder is a waste of money. The design is fine, but every 7 seconds it stopped grinding. And yes, as another poster reviewed (which I wish I had seen before), counted exactly 7 seconds. That means I have to sit with it and press the button every 7 seconds to grind. I tried this for about 3 days before I purchased another brand so I don’t have to live with this one.

Yes it’s loud and takes a sort of long time to grind, but it does it’s job
If I’m paying $20 for a burr grinder, I do not care about anything except if it gets the job done. I use this to grind my espresso beans, and it takes like 3-4 minutes to grind about 1/8th of a cup. That’s not horrible, I just leave it to grind and do other stuff in the meantime. It is a bit loud, but it’s not like a blender loud.Overall does the job really well, and honestly not a bad product.

Shuts off way too often
On the first few runs this grinder worked great. The grind is excellent and highly adjustable. The automatic shut off works when the beans are gone from the hopper. Problem is now it runs 10 seconds and shuts off regardless. This renders it completely useless you have to stand there and push the button every 10 seconds regardless of battery charge and regardless of Hopper load. That makes me sad because this would be a fabulous device if the automatic shut off did not interfere. So if you don’t mind standing there pushing the button I suppose it’s okay. I’m going to have to send it back.

I was not expecting and was pleasantly surprised with the following features:*Infinite adjustment of the grind size, I expected 5 like the picture, and there are detents to stop at every turn, but you can adjust infinitely in between!*This can grind very very finely.*Automatic shutoff.*It came charged and ready to go.I am very happy with this purchase 🙂

Another defective grinder
This is the second of this type of grinder I’ve purchased. The first was great until it suddenly stopped charging after four months. This time it was defective right out of the box. Grinds for a few seconds then stops. Returning and getting a better brand.

Doesn’t fully grind load of beans
I have an identical machine (without a brand name painted on) which works beautifully. This grinder stops grinding every 5-10 seconds and has to be restarted each time. I suspect it is a flaw in its torque-sensing that is supposed to shut it off after the hopper is empty of beans. Not worth keeping, but may try a replacement.

Makes the perfect amount for one cup.
I was looking for a burr grinder, but all the big counter top ones are just too expensive. I only drink one cup of coffee a day, so this product grinds the perfect amount for one 12oz pour over cup of coffee.

I’ve purchased 2 now & neither work!
The 1st one I purchased came with the button missing. I was able to turn it on & off so I thought I’d give it a try anyway but it didn’t really work well. Thought it may have been the button issue so I exchanged it for another. This one came whole with no missing parts but still worked terrible, I want a refund.

Not good for herbs
I should have returned this because it did not grind my herbs at all. I thought it was what I wanted but the basil or oregano just sits on top and doesn’t get down in the little hole so it is way labor intensive and doesn’t do the job. It is a coffee grinder and I don’t drink coffee so I guess I just bought the wrong product. Trying something else. Too bad I let me return window expire. I should have tried it right away. Can’t speak to grinding coffee but don’t buy this on for herbs.

Sad
I bought this to chop spices. When it arrived it was obvious it had been returned. There were probably an ounce of coffee in it and parts were missing. Even after cleaning it, it reeked of coffee. I even tested it for what I wanted it for and the spices reeked of coffee. Nasty!!!

Terrible battery life
It’s easy to use and fairly easy to clean but that’s where the positives stop! The battery on this thing lasts for seconds. The instruction manual says the battery unit will be done charging when it’s solid blue. I plug it in and it’s literally blue! I leave it on the charger for an hour and I get five seconds of battery life out of it. I will be returning this piece of junk. Too bad. Its size makes it convenient but the lack of function makes it impossible to use.

Grinding stops abruptly
Worked great at first. After about 3 months, grinding stops after 7secs (yes, I counted and it did it everytime). I fully charged it but still does it. Now I have to be with it and keep pressing the power button to finish grinding.

Grinds evenly.
I like how it grinds consistently. It will stop after about 15 seconds unless you hold the button until the red light blinks, then it will keep grinding. A good inexpensive burr grinder. Easy to charge, and is attractive on the counter.

Does not stay on long enough.
This item did not meet my expectations. When I push the power button to start, it grinds for 5-10 seconds then stops automatically. This means I have to constantly push the button to continually grind my coffee beans. Also, changing the fineness settings did not change the size of the coffee grounds. Very disappointed in this product.

Compact Grinder
I was looking for a coffee grinder that was smaller and at a reasonable price than the ones out there. I live by myself and I don’t need a large coffee grinder. After much searching, I found this one which is perfect for my needs and fits in my kitchen cabinet. So far, so good.

Nice unit, a bit slow
I bought this to grind some coffee for for making cold brew coffee. I had about a pound of coffee to grind and this did the job but it was a bit slow. Overall it absolutely meets my needs, I don’t do so much grinding that I want a huge unit or battery operated. I love the fact that it’s USB operated. And it will be fine for the limited amount of coffee grinding that I do. It’s actually easy because you can put the coffee in it turn it on and just walk away and when it’s done it shuts itself off , it just takes a while.

so far so good. bought it for my camp grinder.
not that noisy, little less noise than station grinder. it grinds not fast, because it has high gear ratio to grind with power, not speed. this portable grinder and if you want super fast grinder just buy station grinder. fully filled beans grind into half of ground chamber.

So easy to use.
Super simple to use. Charged it up with a c type charger, it’s quieter than a pencil sharpener imo, and it’s extremely convenient. I like that as it grinds if the grounds happen to touch the bottom of the grinder it immediately turns off. I gently shook the grounds flat and then pressed the button again and it started and ran with zero issues.

Loud, but grinds the beans
This is a handy little grinder and does a good job for what it is intended to do. I have an espresso machine that grinds the beans prior to making the coffee but it is not advised, or it is easy, to remove the beans from the hopper and put in “special” beans (like real Kona coffee from Hawaii at $50/pound or, god forbid, flavored beans). So I needed an extra grinder for those “special occasions” and this fits the bill well. It is insanely loud but I guess that is the nature of the beast.

Nice, compact grinder
Mostly, I make my coffee with “beans already ground”, but if a special flavored coffee comes to me, I like to grind the beans myself. Depending upon the strength you like, this well designed little grinder holds enough beans to make a 6 to 8 cup pot of drip coffee in medium/fine grind. The grind coarseness is very easy to change. It has ceramic burrs and grinds slowly, to preserve flavor. It isn’t any faster than my hand-wheel grinder, but you only have to press the switch once and it grinds away, unattended. The grounds cup pulls off easily and dumps into the waiting coffee filter funnel. Overall, It could be a little larger and still be easily transported. I love the usb charging capability and the fact that it operates cordlessly. My main problem with this item is the owners manual, while printed and provided in several saddle-stiched pages, is still so small that I have to use a magnifying glass to read it! Add a star if you’re lucky and have perfect vision!
