I absolutely love ordering flavored ground and concentrated coffees from this company as the quality is top-knotch, the flavor combos so yummy, and the value is right-on. This is the perfect flavor to enjoy on a cooler Fall morning or weekend morning where you can savor it. Yummy!

Different
I thought the idea of Chestnut Salted Praline sounded interesting. It’s definitely different. It’s not bad, some of my friends fell in love with it instantly…but it’s not quite to my taste.Again, nothing wrong with it – very favorable and fresh – but the mix just wasn’t one that hit my favorites list – Though it definitely hit several of my friends! It’s well packaged and, as noted full of flavor and quite fresh. Price is right and shipping was fast and complaint free.I would highly recommend it If you enjoy chestnut salted praline coffee.Personally I will stick to Chestnut and Chicory.

Balanced flavor between coffee and cookie
Like- flavor ease of opening, freshness seal, appearance of package , and appearance of product.Dislike- it is not a full pound package so it’s actually a fairly expensive brand of coffee when you compare it pound-for-pound to others.I think this will be one of my new favorite coffees. I like the holiday flavor called butter cookie that are sold around Christmas and I miss it what it’s no longer available. This reminds me of a shortbread cookie with nuts in it as far as flavor and I like it.It’s more of a medium roast with a flavor so you don’t have the overpowering dark coffee flavor mask by artificial flavor that you can taste is artificial in many other brands. You can taste the flavor as well as the coffee, as it should be.I like it sweetened with stevia or a little honey and a good quality real cream. You might want to try dribbling some vanilla extract into your mug to bring out the flavors more.I have not been disappointed by any flavor from this company and will continue to buy from them even if the average higher than many competitors.I also favor the Canadian coffee called Kicking horse for similar reasons.Yes you can get coffee much cheaper and yes you could just dunk your shortbread cookies into the coffee, and get a kind of flavored result.But.It will not be the smooth enjoyable drinking experience that only a quality coffee can give you.My feeling is if you’re going to indulge in coffee – which is never a cheap habit- buy coffee you really enjoy, and Savor the experience each time. You’re not saving money if you dislike the product you’re buying and don’t look forward to having some.. or you leave it on the Shelf till it goes bad.

Delicious Coffer
The coffee is very good but I hate the bag it comes in. It’s difficult to scoop out the coffee without getting it all over the counter. Yes I’m a senior citizen but my hand is steady and this bag is just not user friendly. But the coffee is very good. I gave it 3 stars because of the packaging and the price.

I love the coffee
I’ve been searching for an authentic toasted coconut flavored coffee since my favorite brand is always unavailable. I’ve been drinking coffee most of my life and am very picky about coffee. I typically only like regular, vanilla, or toasted coconut flavored coffees. I am very pleased with my purchase and have already purchased more and will continue to do so. Very pleased with the authentic flavor.

A Weakling. Not Strong Enough for Me!
I’m giving it three stars only because that’s what my individual ratings average out to. This coffee just wasn’t strong enough for me and, the bag was a PAIN to open! I ended up cutting it open out of frustration! Anyway, if you want a really GOOD chocolate cherry coffee, go with the Cella’s instead.

Not very coconut flavored at all
I usually drink the Joe Knows Coffee Coconut Crazy Joe but tried this. It was ok but more like plain coffee. The smell when opening was more like plain coffee as well, not flavorful with coconut. Too subtle for my taste.

Product Names Changes
Warning, this is Decaf. If you have purchased Christopher Bean coffee before, like I have, be aware that with the recent flavor name changes they have also removed the “decaf” moniker from the product name. As of a few months ago, all decaf coffee included decaf in the name and all regular coffee included regular in the name. Now, some say regular (twice) and you have to read the fine print in the product description to figure out whether or not it is decaf. I buy both regular and decaf coffee, so I will drink it, but I was expecting regular. While I take the blame for not reading all of the details, it is also on them for changing the way they name the products and not alerting long time customers who probably go by the name and not the description.

Um, YUM!
Why would a picture be important for coffee? I’m just so confused. The only thing you need to know is that no, it doesn’t taste like a peanut butter cup, but if you want a peanut butter cup, eat a peanut butter cup, don’t drink coffee! If you want a good cup of coffee that has the nice subtle flavors of peanuts and chocolate, then this is the coffee for you! This is my go-to flavored coffee … only made better by combining it with Bananas Foster by the same company … chocolate peanut butter banana …. mmmm ….

The chocolate cherry cordial luxurious taste coffee
I did well with the chocolate flavor in the coffee. It was the right balance as i prefer no mocha in coffee as a rule for being too much. The cherry is nice flavor. Reminds me of chocolate covered cordial cherries in the candy boxes! It luxurious flavor! I tried it out because they have a selection of amazing new flavors!!! Tastes good! it was 12 oz but i prefer enough ounces to last longer.

Bought this to make cold brew from and it did not disappoint. I generally drink my cold brew without diluting it, other than cream and sugar. It is a little pricey per pound for me but, worth it once in a while.

Needs better packaging.
The coffee is excellent. The bag it comes in isn’t. The bag has a plastic “zip” closure that is smaller than the width of the bag. When this closure is opened it provides a meager 3 1/2 inch access to the interior of the bag. Even if you have small hands it is challenging to scoop the coffee out with your measuring spoon through the stingy opening….and that’s when the bag is full. It’s hard to imagine what you would have to do to get the coffee out when the bag is almost empty. The folks at Christopher Bean Coffee should try using one of their bags with this type closure so they can personally experience how frustrating it is. I cut off the top part of the bag just below the plastic and am now using a clip. It may not be keeping the coffee quite a fresh as the plastic closure would have, but it is certainly much less stressful to use. Christopher Bean, how about taking another look at your packaging?

Where’s the Chocolate?
If you like Raspberry flavored coffee then this might be the coffee for you. But when my taste buds asked me where the chocolate was, I didn’t know what to tell them.I bought this 12 oz. bag in order to save a little $ compared to the smaller 10 oz. bag of the Door County Chocolate Raspberry coffee which I’ve purchased several times in the past.I’ll keep looking for a decent Chocolate Raspberry coffee which compares to the Door County brand but which is more economical.

I think the coffee itself is decent quality…
Unfortunately this has very little flavor. The coffee itself is genuinely nice, but I was so excited to try the banana. It SMELLS heavenly, unfortunately, smell is about all there is to it. I wouldn’t have even known I was drinking a flavored coffee if I hadn’t brewed it myself. Disappointing. Quite expensive for just regular ol’ coffee.

Caramel Butter Crunch now added to my favorites list!
This is my first Christopher Bean Coffee purchase and it did not disappoint. My favorite brand of butter caramel coffee is no longer available so I have been in search of a comparable replacement. This is not quite the flavor push as my prior favorite brand and the reason for 4 stars. I will be purchasing again and looking forward to trying other Christopher Bean flavors.

Great Coffee, Wrong Type
So in all fairness, this is good coffee. I gave it a 3 because I ordered ground and received whole bean. Even the shipping sticker on the bag said ground. Things happen and if I want some of this coffee, i have to put the work in.So back to the coffee- upon opening the bag, I noticed a very prominent gingerbread scent. The beans were glossy and a lovely mahogany. I ground the beans up using my manual Burr grinder, and the gingerbread scent filled my kitchen. I chose to grind the beans very coarse since I was going to cold brew. 24 hours later I was super pumped to try my new coffee. Holy cow! It definitely tastes like gingerbread! I don’t detect the creme brulee part, which is fine because I was specifically looking for gingerbread coffee. It’s not overpowering, nor is it fake tasting. It tastes like a wonderful marriage between spices and wonderfully roasted coffee beans.Give it a shot. It tastes great in 90 degree August. I can only imagine how great it’s going to taste come winter.

Not bad flavor
I’ve had crazy cups which is far better peanut butter flavor but highly expensive. I always Dr up my coffees to taste better because no company is steller. I added a few pinches of peanut flour (dry roasted peanuts) and 1/4 tsp of cocoa powder to 3 scoops of coffee and this is perfection. Peanut butter flavor extracts are never really good it’s better to add just alittle help.I mean Starbucks does it all the time with their syrups. But those are highly sugary diabetic coma inducing nightmare.I’ve tried 4 other companies this is 2nd and crazy cups being winner so being 2nd place not bad. Oh I use heavy cream and sweetner. For creamers because this needs milk fat or coconut cream to bring out flavor. Don’t use any flavored creamers outside of sweet cream because the vanilla warps many flavored coffee’sJust a little heads up one coffee snob to another
